My LC9 is my EDC weapon and I really love the way it shoots, but the stock trigger was really, really bad. Super long pull and inconsistent feel. I was going to sell it and buy a new EDC but I figured I'd try this spring kit - for $20 I really couldn't go wrong. Install was fairly simple - great instructions and the video made it go quick. Huge improvement - much lighter pull and the stroke is consistent throughout the pull. It's still not great, but that is the design. This spring kit is well worth the minimal investment.

Best thing for your LC9

Saw the video and thought to try it out the spring kit. Arrived quick enough and using the video had them installed in about an hour. WOW what a difference!! This gun went from safe queen to one of my favorite shooters. Went to the range to test it out and easily shot around 200 rounds all with 100% improvement in accuracy. The trigger is so much better now! Thank you guys for the springs and the helpful video!! 1000% recommend this product and this company! Buying the SP101 kit next!!

Best Trigger Kit available and American made.

Let me start by saying I ordered the Trigger Kit for the Ruger LC9 during our current Pandemic, and even with a skeleton crew, M*CARBO shipped my products fast. I have used other trigger kits from other manufacturers in the past and the results from the M*CARBO surpasses them by far. The how to videos are so clear and understandable that even a novice can do it. I also ordered the gunsmith bench block and it works wonderful. Two thumbs up for this American owned and American made company.

Best upgrade for the money

I stopped carrying my LC9 years ago due to the horrible trigger pull. Recently, I stumbled upon a YouTube video of the installation process of these springs and thought, I can do this, but I bet it’s expensive. So I went to their website and when I saw the $20 price, I decided to try it. The installation was actually fun, and the video made it super easy. (I didn’t cuss not one time lol). At the range, the lighter trigger was a vast improvement! It took me a few shots to master the new trigger prep. In the end, I was able to group them within 6 inches at 30 feet. Not bad for me and this tiny gun. The upgrade works flawlessly, but keep in mind it still is a hammer fired gun. It does not give it a hair trigger. I feel more confident in my LC9 now, and will be carrying it.

Easy Install and VERY smooth

I recently installed this kit on my LC9, in conjunction with an RTK Short-Stroke Trigger kit, Stainless Guide Rod, and Galloway Precision 20lbs recoil spring. First outing was my very first ASI match, where it performed flawlessly. Trigger pull was very smooth and broke cleanly, and the combination resulted in a pull that dropped from over 7lbs to right around 5lbs.

Very happy.

Easy to install. So much easier to fire now!

My Ruger LC9 trigger was so hard to pull. After installing the spring kit, it's much easier and my aim is better.

I recently purchased a used Ruger LC9 and not the LC9s and wanted to improve the trigger. I was impressed with the Youtube video and then went to the MCARBO site. I could actually improve the feel of the trigger for only $20. Why not and I am glad I did. Take up and reset is still a little long (acceptable for my EDC), but the feel is way smoother. Took about 3 times as long as the video and I fiqured Chris Nelson had more practice. Shipping and communication were first rate. I will definately do more business with this company (MCARBO).

Even better than expected

I knew that the parts would be of good quality, but the drastic level of improvement to the trigger was unexpected. I wanted to lighten up the trigger and this retrofit really did the trick.

I’ve hated the stock trigger on my Ruger LC9 for years, just really started realizing that there were options for me to change it within the last year or so. I found this product via a Google search for a trigger kit. The price was amazing so I figured I’d give it a shot. The kit + the video instructions = perfection! I took my LC9 with the newly installed trigger to the range yesterday and the reduction in weight really improved my accuracy and my experience. I definitely recommend this trigger kit to anyone not fond of the stock trigger on the Ruger LC9!

Just put it all together. Instructions were a huge help. Havent got a chance to fire it yet, but the trigger pull does feel a lot better now. Definitely an improvement. Will update once I get a chance to hit the range.

Old army vet here and found following the you tube video was pretty simple when I added these new springs. I actually enjoyed firing it after the change. The biggest change came from where I caught the hammer. In the past it was a tough squeeze all the way to the bank before the hammer released. Now its about 3/4s of the way and very smooth. SO no hard squeezes, I can put a decent group at close range at rapid fire. Total pluses which leads me making this my fav concealed carry going forward.

Finally a Solution

Received the new spring kit and installed same day. I followed the video and that was very helpful. It dry-fires really nice. Looking forward to range time with it. Hoping I make friends with it again because the original trigger pull was pretty dismal.

Good improvement

This kit makes the trigger pull lighter and more consistent, without changing length of pull. I don’t mind a longer trigger, or even a heavy trigger, but not both. This is a relatively cheap way to upgrade your LC9 and is definitely worth the money. (Watch the installation video if you buy)
