Night and day difference. Completely removed the gritty feeling that the stock trigger had. 10/10 would recommend especially at this price point.
Took a few hours partly because I removed the mag disconnect while disassembled. Made a mistake that required re-doing some steps. Polished less than video. Video quality was good, thorough and easy to follow. According to my Wheeler Electronic gauge an average of 10 pulls each came out to 8 lb. 7 oz. before down to 5 lb 9 oz. after install, reduction of 31 %.. Terrific results ! ! State of Massachusetts requires a 10 lb. pull for sale in the state.
Im from MA so my M&P had about a 20lb trigger (joking but not by much). I did mediocre polish job not nearly as intense as the dude on the video. Result were great. Like night and day. If you are too lazy to polish I'm willing to bet just swapping springs made the majority of the difference.
Got this trigger kit for a my m&p 2.0 in 9mm, got the polish kit as well followed the video instructions on how to do the work, removing the rear sight was the biggest chore, all the parts fit perfect, wasn’t any modification need to make anything fit, I do recommend to go ahead and get their nice bench block and the polish kit. This kit got my pistol down to a little over 4lbs. After the sanding and the polish work was done, the trigger feels 100% smoother than factory, it’s not an apex, but it’s also not $160 either. This is the best trigger you will find for $25 and some of your time, I use this gun for IDPA and feel this setup will add accuracy and hopefully shave some time. Between the spring kit and polishing the parts inside its like shooting a new gun. Gone is the grit of the factory trigger . They have a great video that walks you through the whole process start to finish. LIKE BUTTER!
Living in MA, M&Ps are sold with sh***y 10+ lb triggers. I bought the Apex sear forward kit for my first M&P45 (1.0) and it did what it advertised, but at $160+ I think it was a mistake. I recently bought an M&P45 2.0 and decided to try the MCARBO kit as a cost effective alternative. I installed only the trigger return spring and sear spring, and polished all the friction-bearing surfaces. The trigger is now just over 4.75lbs, and I couldn't be happier.

The trigger was horribly rough and stiff when I started. I ordered extra sand paper (I ended up using 2 squares due to bad burrs on the trigger bar) and the polishing kit. Watched the installation video a couple of times and got started. Took me about 6 hours to polish everything and install the new springs. Sanding and polishing the striker block made the biggest difference in smoothing out the trigger pull. Well worth the time and money.
Recently I bought a S&W spring kit and polishing kit to help the “squishy” trigger. OMG. I took it shooting for the first time since the work and it’s impressive! The first shot totally surprised me, even knowing I did the work and tried dry firing a number of times, to try and see the difference. And what a difference there was! I liked shooting this M&P before, but now I love it! Great product and thanks for the instructional videos. It made all the difference in the world. Great work

Ordered the "Smith and Wesson M&P Trigger Upgrade Kit 1.0 & 2.0 - 9mm | .357 | .40 cal | .45 ACP", followed the video to the tee, had my laptop with me, watched the MCARBO Video as I went through the steps, one by one. Spent 3hrs on the trigger job, wanted to eliminate rushing errors, but no joy. Measured the trigger pull weight, it was 6.5 LBS (after), no change, sad :( “Caveat emptor” let the buyer beware.

Videos are without a doubt the best instructional videos I’ve seen. A novice like me had no problem. Results at range were amazing. Much tighter groups! Trigger was god awful prior to upgrade and polish and now my confidence in pistol is through the roof!
This kit made my pistol feel like a completely different gun. Smooth as glass trigger take up. Nice crisp break. Wonderful trigger pull weight. Very happy with this kit. I did get the flitz polish kit to assist with the finishing work. Only difference between the video was the sear plunger spring didn't have a nipple to slide on so I did fight that to get my sight back on. Now to get the trigger put back together I faught and faught using the special tool. I would get the spring almost on the pin and then the dowel would slide out and the spring would slip off. I needed an extra hand. I had to use a punch to keep the tool pressed against the pin. When I got mid way I used a pick to get the spring on pin while keeping pressure between the punch and the pin. When I finally got it on I felt relieved and triumphant. I did have a shipping issue which made me depressed. It took about 2 weeks for my order to arrive. The second time they shipped my order I got it within a couple days. But hey it happens. Wish I lived near this shop to avoid the hassle of the USPS. All in all I'm glad my veteran brothers have products like this. Two thumbs up. My 16 year old son even was impressed.
You can not do better for the price than this kit. Especially with the polishing. I did one in my shield and my sons. They were such an improvement I bought one for my full size also.
I went online on a Sunday afternoon and placed an order with M*CARBO for some components for one of my M&P pistols. On Monday morning around 9:30 to check my emails and there was an email informing me that the items I ordered had shipped. Wow! I received them two days later and was anxious to open and inspect them. Quality was superb. Can’t wait to start my trigger project. Chris and his team are professionals providing a quality product at a reasonable price. I plan on ordering other items in the future. Another thing, the video on the M&P pistol is easy to follow plus it is one of the few how-to videos that tells you upfront all the tools and items you need to do the mission.
