The kit was affordable and with patience worked very well. I don't have a trigger scale but the difference was noticeable. Send the weapon in to mcarbo if you don't have patience.
Being a Veteran and an enthusiast of various weaponry, I was excited to learn Mcarbo had parts to fit my pistol. Along with extremely fast shipping, quality parts, and helpful conversation I was able to reduce the trigger pull to the weight I wanted to. Since the updated work the pistol shoots smooth and right on target. Thanks guys.

i very happy with this spring kit. i brought one about a month ago for my M&P 40 shield and installed it. It worked so well that i got one for my M&P 9 shield. i love this kit and i love the MCARBO brothers. I have brought things for them before and i will be buying them again.

I purchased a new M&P 9mm that was Ma. compliant. It was the only one I could find in my area. The stock trigger was probably the worst I have ever had. This kit from Mcarbo was fairly easy to install. After polishing and spring installation the trigger was better, but not good. I don't own a trigger pull gage so I can't say for sure what the pull weight was. I do own another M&P 9mm with the stock trigger pull and the new one was still quite a bit more difficult after this kit was installed. While inspecting the differences between the two trigger sets, I noticed the sears were different. I found that the sear in the older pistol was actually S&W's competition sear. I purchased a competition sear online for $8 plus shipping. After installing the new sear the triggers feel almost identical. I am assuming they are both around 6# now. Overall, I am happy with the kit from Mcarbo. Just note that you may need to go a little further if you got stuck with one of the Ma. compliant triggers.

Bought this spring kit for a MA compliant M&P compact 2.0. MA requires 10+ lb trigger pull for dealer sales. I don’t have a trigger weight scale, so I rigged up a method to use another small scale by pushing down with a U-bolt through the trigger guard. The scale only goes up to 7 pounds, and before installing the spring kit, I pegged the scale with the factory springs still in the gun. I carefully polished all contact services and after installing the new spring kit, I measured the trigger weight at 6 pounds using my method, a noticeable improvement. The spring kit was very easy to install. If you are familiar with the M&P line, it can be done in an hour, not including the polishing. Ready to go try it out at the range. The company was excellent to deal with and I received my kit in about four days. Got free shipping too. These are the kind of folks I like to deal with.

I recently bought a trigger gauge and it turns out that my lightest pistol trigger is the SA of a GP100 that I have at about 2.5lbs. The second lightest trigger in a pistol is my S&W M&P 2 40 after following the MCARBO guide. It went from 6.5lbs to just over 3lbs. It is SUCH a big difference. The M&P is a great gun to begin with but at 3lb trigger pull, just WOW. It's my new favorite.
Third Spring kit purchased. One for Glock and two for M&P . The Glock kit worked really well , after polishing , changing springs and connector. G17 now gas a 4 pound excellent break. M&P 2.0 4pound or so E, 👍 improvement. M&P Core improvement was fair . Overall rating was 4+. Service was 4++.

I didn't see as much reduction in measured trigger pull as I'd hoped - went from 7.0lbs to 5.5lbs, which is good but not great. With all of the sanding & polishing involved, my trigger FEEL has improved hugely. Very clean & crisp. I wish y'all would come out with a replacement trigger with adjustments to minimize takeup and over travel. I loved the video and followed it step by step as I worked on my gun. I did notice a few minor differences between the video and my 2.0, but nothing that caused any trouble. I rated this kit at 4 stars because of your video. Your explanations are concise but complete, showing every view of every part. I know if I get into trouble I can always rewind it as many times as it takes for me to catch what I missed earlier. As long as I see an installation video for a part, I'm not afraid to buy anything that you sell!
