Ez install and greatly improved the trigger pull. 3 rounds almost went through same hole at 22yds shooting CCI 40 grain standard velocity 22 LR ammo. 3x9 scope set at 9 power. Shipping was fast! Thanx MCARBO!!
Bought the springs along with the trigger upgrade. Easy to install using the videos provided by M*Carbo. The trigger pull is a lot smoother with the combo upgrade.
The trigger kit brought the trigger pull down to acceptable pull, greatly increasing accuracy. Would like to of have it gone down more!
The trigger has a much smoother break and with the reduced trigger pull I can't find anything I don't like about this kit. Easy to install and works amazing. I dont have that tiny jerk that I had with the factory trigger springs.
It works. I have a significant reduction in the trigger pull. It's not quite a hair trigger but it takes noticeably less force. I imagine your expectations also come into play as to how you like the results. As far as installing it goes it could not be easier if you know a little about how to work with guns, pins, and springs. In fact it is almost drop in and done except for installing the pin.
After some serving I finally found this product. Wish there were more companies that made aftermarket equipment for savage products. The trigger is smooth and noticeably softer.
My old 5 pound force trigger pull made any feel for the release very difficult for target work.. New springs gave a much easier to anticipate the hammer release. Before it was distracting and unpredictable,,, after the mod I soon didn't not have to pay attention to the trigger release as a barrier to accurate shooting. jmho.
The Mcarbo kit for the 64 trigger was shipped quickly (within a few days), received 5 days after ordering. The installation video on the Mcarbo website made installation easy and the trigger pull went from 5# to 3.5# in a few minutees.
2 points... 1. Installation was a snap, especially after watching the video detailing it. 2. 25-yard, 5 round shot groups were an average of 6-inches. Now, you could cover all 5 shots with a dime. It just works!

it did what it said would do reduced trggger pullfrom my 5.7lbs to2,75lbsok for hunting but asi livin in uk iwould like it abit lower as we can only do taget shootingif macarbo make a target kit in future ill will buy it
Installed trigger spring kit on Savage 64 .22 lr. Dropped the trigger pull from 6 to 4.3 lbs. Great, The return spring seam weak and sloppy, May put old return spring back in rifle. We’ll talk to a Service technician first.
The trigger spring really improved the trigger pull, however I ended up reinstalling the stock trigger return spring. The trigger return spring was too weak, and the trigger would fail to reset randomly, which was very frustrating.
This kit has made a the trigger pull noticable light excellent product
I originally saw the M*CARBO spring kit for the 64 and knew immediately that I wanted it. The parts were shipped within an hour of ordering them. But it took about a week to get them because Canada customs and Canada post had different ideas. They bounced the packages back and forth a couple of times. Not a surprise really. A week from Florida is actually really good. The install went easy and I did installed the M*CARBO trigger as well. I shot about 60 rounds through and the rifle feels way better. Much smoother pull than stock. Now I just have to practice more and perhaps go to the optometrist. Thank you M*CARBO! An excellent product that I will recommend to my shooter friends.
Replaced the springs with the trigger, and it's a huge improvement!
