This is a no brainer. What a difference this spring kit made to the groupings I'm shooting at 50 yards outdoors. Get the trigger and spring kit. M*carbo ships fast, excellent customer service, sends you the easily to follow instruction on video. Such a pleasure to shoot. Big difference over the standard trigger pull, easy to install

Very well made. Replaced original before it possibly broke. Original wasn't as rough as shown in video. I found it has a bit more take up than original trigger though.
Installed this kit and it did drop the trigger pull to 3 - 3.5 lbs from 4.5 - 4.75 lbs.

This spring kit made a dramatic difference in my Stevens 62. Installation was extremely easy and the reduced felt trigger pull helps greatly with accuracy. If you are on the fence regarding this kit, don’t be. Now, if someone will come up with a better magazine for this rifle, I will be one happy camper. Hint hint!
All of this has come to be seen in a Lakefield Modell 64, and I have to say it works. The output weight was 2540 grams and 1801 grams after installation. I am satisfied with that.

I bought this to cure the horrible trigger pull on my recently purchased new-old-stock 64 TS RS. The stock trigger would pick up 4.75lbs of NRA weights and I had to apply about a pound more pressure to break the sear. After install it will barely pick up 4.25lbs. So it took me down 1.5lbs but not down to 3.75lbs as advertised, hence the minus one star. I plan on ordering the Target Trigger next as I have read of several instances of the stock trigger breaking at the retaining pin hole.

The 64, at least in the heavy barrel configuration CAN be worked to be a nice field gun, the addition of Carbo's trigger and spring kit is a no-brainer. Having worked on several 64's this "kit" makes shooting the 64 a dream. Simply stated, 64+Carbo trigger/spring kit = great rifle.
