I ordered the kit late friday night and recieved it USPS mid-day wednesday first class! USPS miracle-I give that 8 stars. GOD is watching over you M-CARBO! In-stalled kit today it went in better than you say, fit great! trigger pull weight scaled at 2lbs on first 2 pulls and one and three quarture lbs on next 3. Shooting on tuesday will update. TANKS a million! god
Great product. Easy to install. MCARBO delivered it and 2 days and followed up with me later. Great customer support. Once installed the trigger was much better than from the factory.
I bought the trigger kit for my Remington 597 two years ago along with a Volquartsen target trigger and extractor. My 597 trigger pull is a light 2.5lbs and I have a nice tack driver.

dropped my trigger pull to 3 lbs although I did stone and polish the sides of the hammer and polish the sear the polish job dropped me to 5lbs the spring kit put it at 2.5 - 3 lbs very smooth pull with crisp release. my groups at 50 yds are just one hole instead of .5 inch and at 100 about .5 - .625 inch unbelievable difference
The spring kit arrived with in 3 days. I took about 15 minutes to install and works perfect. It does not reduce the trigger pull as much as expected but the difference is noticable. This is the second 597 I have owned. Installing a trigger spring kit along with the target hammer made the weapon dangereous to handle.

<p>I purchased the trigger spring kit for my remington 597 rifle. I had some issues with the bushings in the kit, but with one email, I received a new set of bushings in a couple of days. I added the VQ target hammer and VQ extractor with this trigger spring kit, and I'm very pleased with the performance of my rifle now. And just as impressed with this company.</p>
If you have a 597 you know the devils it has. Rough trigger, lots of creep to about a five pound crunch. Not to mention fail to extract. You can change that with just a little effort. The biggest improvement came with the new spring and bushings from M CARBO. I also replaced the hammer with a target hammer, and a new extractor form Volquartsen, and floating the barrel,, it's a new rifle.

Great trigger improvement!. I'm not a gunsmith but I dabble. A video for the PRO kit showed a small Hold-it-together pin that the spring-only kit did not include; it would have been 6 stars if it came with the springs-bushings kit. I'm still happy with a much improved trigger on my 597.
I bought this kit for my 597 HB. The original trigger wasn't bad but I wanted something even smoother and lighter for taking shots at small game (head shots). These springs made a world of difference and I love it. I haven't had a single issue and the trigger is lighter and crisper. Will be buying MCARBO springs for all the firearms I own that they make them for!
I dearly appreciate the e-mail with links to installation videos. I watched your installation video (for the Remington 597 hammer spring and bushings) before I ordered your parts and again while I was installing them. Definitely made things a breeze. It'd be wonderful if other businesses followed your example. Support soldiers, make in the USA, make and provide installation videos, actually provide true customer service. When I come across businesses such as yours, I do what little I can to spread a good word around. It's the least I can do and it's about all I can do. Not a fan of most big businesses like Wal-Marts, Mcdonalds and Sam's Club's. They tend to treat their customers very impersonally. Businesses like yours, however, I truly wish the best for. As we all know the 597 has a few short comings, but this trigger spring upgrade is a great way to start changing them. Very easy to install.
This was an easy install after watching the video on the MCARBO website. The MCARBO hammer was not available but teamed up with another aftermarket brand the trigger spring kit took my 597 trigger from what was actually a decent 4.25lbs to a crispy and consistent 3lbs. Another great product from MCARBO! Gonna be tough year to be a squirrel in MN.
The MCARBO trigger spring kit has converted an awful trigger on my Remington 597 into a decent one and my group size has improved. The quality of the spring kit is excellent and was easy to install and the price was also very reasonable.
