Videos wonderful - quality excellent. Installation straightforward and it got me in there with a nice file and polish. Once done, however, it was not 'that much' lighter. I expected 50% reduction. Can't measure - just the feel. Noticed that the trigger itself was very firm. Went in like on a normal M1911 (I have a Rock) and pre-bent the spring some. Made all the difference.

Installed spring kit. Failure to fire on three different factory 9mm ammo. Replaced firing pin and hammer spring with original springs. Same ammo discharged as expected. Weapon is new (less than 50 rounds), will go through more of a breaking in process before a complete review.

A well designed kit. Straight forward install. I had a 8lb-9.3oz factory average to start with. Ended up with 6lb-2oz pull average. A very noticeable improvment, and no malfunctions so far. Only fired about 20 rounds so far. Very happy.

Awesome product. Completely changes my view and shooting experience with the micro 9. I never liked the Kimber micro 9 due to the trigger. I put this kit on my friends gun for her and then tried it. I went and bought my own micro 9 the next day and installed this kit on mine as well. Absolutely love this kit. And for 25$ it is an incredible steal to completely change your experience with the micro 9.

Installed the MCarbo trigger spring kit in a Kimber Micro 9 Rapide 9mm and it works beautifully. Trigger breaks consistently at about 3lbs. Installation video by MCarbo was VERY helpful and easy to follow. Rapide model is slightly different with an ambidextrous safety and an unexpected additional locking screw under the hammer spring housing but it was easy to figure out because of the clarity and detail of the instructional video. Was disappointed with this pistol out of the box because the trigger pull was so heavy. This conversion makes it one of my favorites now. Best $30 I've spent in recent memory!

We bought this for my wife's carry. The video was very helpful as I had never taken down a 1911. The flat spring gave me some difficulty due to lack of proper tools, fat finger dexterity issues, and 55 year old eyes in not great lighting.

The trigger pull is completely night and day difference.

She now wants to get another kimber and spring kit.

Thank you brothers for your work and service. We appreciate you and highly recommend this product and your company

5.5 pounds and still needs work.

The factory Kimber Micro 9 trigger was in excess of 8 pounds and like dragging a cinder block through a field of chuck holes. My trigger scale only goes to 8 pounds but it was far more than 8. With the new springs installed it is a consistent 5.5 pounds with only a chuck hole or two for the cinder block to hang up on. It will be my wife's carry gun. Her fingers are damaged due to disease so even 5.5 pounds is tough for her.

When I first got the Micro 9 the trigger pull was just over 8 lbs. Needless to say I was looking to reduce that. I bought the spring kit last year (before the new sear spring) and it dropped the pull to just over 4 lbs. When I saw that MCARBO came out with a new sear spring I immediately sent for one and now my trigger pull is now at 2 3/4 lbs. I am exceedingly happy with the product. In addition, the video instructions for installation were were excellent and very easy to follow. Overall I couldn't be happier with the product, the service and MCARBO in general.

I installed this kit late one night thinking it would be a piece of cake. I couldn’t have been more wrong. One leg of the sear spring has been shortened and it is a royal pain to wedge the sear between the trigger bar and the short leg of the spring. I have small hands and great dexterity but this install was not easy. That being said, this kit definitely improved the trigger pull. Can’t beat it for the price.

4lb 1oz. This trigger kit was an excellent modification for my Kimber Micro 9 Rapide Dawn. The stock trigger was a little heavy for me. The MCARBO kit fixed that and I feel that my Micro 9 feel great.

This is a DIY kit, but I decided to have the specialists at MCARBO polish the internal parts and complete the installation.

Note: I also purchased MCARBO’s new Kimber Micro 9 Extra Power Recoil Spring. The combination of the two is AMAZING.

A great product - fairly easy install

I bought this for my Kimber Micro 9, all stainless with Rosewood grips. Pretty much the same gun you see all over the internet, no prior mods and only about 75 rounds down the pipe so it's not even really broken in. With just a handful of tools and a good YouTube video, this took me about an hour to install. Having a little mechanical aptitude can go a long ways....just saying. You can get all of the tools fairly cheap at Harbor Freight. I cannot tell you what the actual pound drop was in the trigger pull, I don't have a scale. But I can tell that it was cut in about half. I ran a full mag through it after the install and was impressed with how much lighter it was. It was not a hair trigger so I still feel like it is safe to carry cocked and locked. But I also don't feel like I'm getting a forearm workout at the gym after cruising through the brass.

A little more

Don't ger me wrong, the product is great. Just a couple of things, getting the sear in and out on the 380 is much harder than the 9mm because of its smaller size. Also give some instructions on how to adjust the sear spring. Keep up the good work!!
