Much better than the factory takedown pin. Great design, loving into place.
Great company! Easy purchase, fair price and quick shipping. The take down pin works great. I have purchased several more parts since my first purchase.
This is a High Quality part in comparison to OEM. Very Pleased in the delivery speed virtually over the weekend FL to CA. Opportunities; 1. The “Spring“ the design of a short sharp ended bend up to contact the notch. The end is sharp making the pin difficult to insert and is marring concern. An inverted “V” with a soft flat at the apex would be a major improvement. Adding only a little material and an extra bend or two. 2. The alignment dots should have a contrast fill coating of some type. The dots are visibly hard to determine. 3. Toolless use was a disagreement at first. I had to use a micro screwdriver in the slot to release the spring. Then it was an easy fingernail under the flange and lift. I learned that if the slide was retracted slightly at the same time using thumbnail to turn the slot it works, TOOLLESS. (add how to use video) From fully loaded to separated slide in 10 seconds AWESOME!

I got my take down pin last week. It is if much better quality then the Ruger pin that was in my firearm. It slid easily into place, without all the gyrations I had to do previously. Thank you for the prompt delivery!
It is an improvement for field stripping. Not convinced the factory pin poses a shearing hazard, but for a few bucks this is a fine upgrade.
So I upgraded my pin and its retaining spring however I spent a bit of time figuring out how to reset the trigger spring mechanism after the upgrade. Wish it showed how to assemble everything again.
I was impressed with the attention given to a $10 purchase. Great communication and great delivery. Will certainly go to MCarbo first for any future weapon needs.

I purchased this and other parts for my Ruger LCP from MCARBO. The parts arrived quickly and were labled nicely. I utilized the installation videos available from MCARBO; these made my instalation very easy. Plus, I could view the video before I purchased a part to ensure I would be comfortable replacing the parts. The parts themselves are made of quality materials and have improved the function of my LCP.
If you do nothing else to your LCP 2 22LR do this take down pin!! My girlfriend and her BFF each bought a 22LR, we had fun shooting their new guns at the range. I was teaching them to breakdown and clean their gun (they were doing it), but that stock pin is a pain in the ass, especially when trying to reassemble. I have to say they nailed it with this pin!! Both girls had no problem breaking down or reassembling with this pin. It’s so simple now. Thank you
This product is much better than the original part from Ruger. A lot more material on the part to ensure no failure. I highly recommend it.
