I had 2 out of 3 Remington 597 mags that had shorter baseplates than the 3rd. All the mags were old but the 2 mags with shorter baseplates absolutely would not feed correctly - almost threw them away!

I sanded the interior of the 2 mags with 2000 grit and then polished the interior with a Dremelt but they still wouldn't feed correctly until I bought these Mcarbo magazine springs.

Lightly oiled the interior of the mags and with the new Mcarbo springs, haven't had one single failure to feed since. Saved my mags!

The replacement spring worked perfectly. With remington going through bankruptcy, factory parts are expensive and hard to find if if at all. Reasonable price and easy to repair. Takes five minutes and a small screw driver to pop the magazine open and replace.

Solved the mis-feed problem

Your replacement springs gave new life to my Remington 597 original plastic magazines. I was frustrated with a severe feeding problem with the gun a while ago at the range. Going on line I discovered that many folks had the same problem because of the flimsy original magazine springs. One guy mentioned M-CARBO. Click! I had gotten a captured slide spring for my Walther P22 a few years ago and was happy with the results. Your shipment of the 597 mag springs was quick and the springs caused the 597 to feed perfectly every time with all 3 magazines. Thanks for problem solving.

THE PERFECT SOLUTION!!!

I finally pulled the trigger and purchased these mag springs after about a year of holding off. I admit, I thought just another sales gimmick". WRONG! I compared these springs to the OEM springs and noticed that these were made of heavier gauge metal, then I compressed the new springs between my fingers and noticed how much more resistance there was and how well they returned to their original length (yes, I measured). Installed new springs into my magazines and "VIOLA", problem solved. And I didn't have to spend $40+ dollars on new magazines.

Ordering was easy, the price was great, delivery was fast (3 days) and I definitely will order parts/supplies from this company again.

Well I messed up one of my mags try to get the plastic base off, but the spring still works and feeds great. My previous spring wouldn’t feed at all. The only problem is I can’t get 10 rounds in the 10 round mag to save my life, so 7 it is! Regardless, the mags feed well now. Works great !!

Ordered these because the aftermarket mags were impossible to find.

Polished up my old mags inside and out and installed the springs.

Not even in the same category vs. the factory. Now the mags work correctly.

Thanks guys for an awesome product and super fast shipping. Ordered on Sun. night, was shooting the gun again on Wed. evening !!
