It’s easy to install, thanks to the video provided. I went to range after the install and immediately saw an improvement in performance.
I just finished installing the MCARBO spring kit in my Smith & Wesson Sigma 9mm. I could feel the difference in the trigger pull as soon as I had the weapon back together. My son also has a SW9VE and there is a world of difference if you pull the triggers on them side by side. My only complaint, and it is extremely minor, is the plastic pin you include to hold the pigtail spring during re-assembly allowed the spring on mine to block the pin from going through the hole. I used a finishing nail, as someone else suggested, to install this pin. I didn't even cut the nail down. I just pushed the pointed end through the assembly, and used the pin to push the nail out from the other side. I believe the point on the nail helped line everything up as it was pushed through. This made it a lot easier to get the pin installed.
This spring kit took me from a 9.6lb pull to a 4.96lb. soooo much better and easier to change than I anticipated.
I nailed a Smegma cheapn sans papier. Found the trigger to be.....well, like a Smegma. Then I looked around for options and found THIS KIT. Wtched the video, got the tools together, and (timed—20 minutes from several retries from stiff fingers) boom! Now i have a GUN not a paperweight. Triggerfeels like a DAO well tuned revolver, buttery smooth. Love it!
This was super simple to install and Wow, so much better. My prior trigger pull was so stiff that after about 10 shots I would have muscle fatigue in my hands. I cant wait to see how my shot group improves. Thanks so much.
