The stainless guide rod is a quantum leap in quality over the stock plastic part. The fit & finish is very well done and the recoil spring will not dig in, gouge, or wear out this guide rod. Great part!

I purchased the Stainless Steel guide Rod and 20 pound recoil spring for my PF-9. Installation is simple: Clear, then field strip the pistol and reassemble using the M*CARBO components. Fit and function are perfect. A couple of the members on DefensiveCarry.com read something I posted about McCARBO and said they were so happy to find quality components for the little PF-9. Thanks for the fine products, brothers.
This improved the recoil, and I no longer worry about my guide rod breaking.

Guide rod is very high quality and fits the pistol very well. Have not had the opportunity to fire the weapon yet to see how it affects performance. But replacing the puny little plastic one has to certainly help.
I ordered the following parts for the PF-9 on April 29: 20 pound recoil spring Trigger spring kit Flat trigger SS guide rod Textured grips Bench block Due to unavailability of parts, these parts didn't arrive until Jun 13. All of the parts were installed at one sitting as I didn't want to disassemble the gun more than one time. Following the videos on the MCARBO website, the parts were installed without any problems and the changes in the gun's operation were very noticeable and made the PF-9 much more enjoyable to shoot. The process was easy and enjoyable, but patience and a little mechanical skill are required as some of the parts are very small and reassembly does take a little dexterity and finesse. However, the parts are well made, fit like a glove, and are well worth the time and expense to install on your PF-9. They will definitely improve the weapon.

Stock KeltecPF-9 Recoil Spring and Guide Rod were extremely difficult to use and unreliable. Bought replacements from Keltec and they were just as bad. Bought Stainless Steel Guide Rod and Max Control 20 lb Spring from M*CARBO and they work perfect. I'm a happy customer.
I replaced my old plastic guide rod when I did the ret of the PF9 upgrades. Honestly, mine shot just fine before with the original guide rod but who knows how long it would have lasted. At the very least the steel rod looks awesome. No doubt it'll be more durable. One less thing I have to worry about.
I Have ordered Kel Tec parts from M*carbo and all work flawlessly and i will order again when upgrading any firearm go with M*carbo their gun parts are best of the best
I swapped springs, rod and trigger with M*Carbo replacement parts. My PF-9s are now a pleasure to shoot. Made a world of difference. Why trust Plastic parts ???
