Installed "KEL-TEC KSG Aluminum Trigger" and "KEL-TEC KSG Trigger Spring Kit". Reassembly of KSG trigger group was tricky, but M*Carbo video resolved all issues. BEFORE: Small movement of trigger didn't always fire the gun. Considerable difference between trigger pull on KSG and other guns. AFTER: Smooth and predictable firing. Transition between rifle, pistol, and KSG with no noticeable difference in trigger pull. Love it.
The MCarbo KSG Aluminum Trigger is a must have upgrade for any KSG. Installation is fairly simple, much easier than the mag followers which are also a must have upgrade, check out the MCarbo SS followers or KelTec orange Aluminum followers...Trigger rocks. Installed mine without adjusting and it works great. Smoother pull and sharper break. Also eliminates the cheap plastic twangy sound from the KSG Trigger area when dry firing (don’t forget to use snap caps). Very satisfied. Highly recommend. Great price. Thanks MCarbo.
I didn’t do the spring. For me the stock is a good weight. That said I hated the feel of the trigger. This one is a solid, great feel. Install was not to difficult, the video made it simple.
This trigger and spring every cent worth it, so much so I bought it again for my Ks7. Great reduction in trigger pull, no play what so ever! (easy easy Adjustment) clean and crisp! Just like advertised! Video well done and precise the only thing I would add is that while re-installing trigger hold hammer tension back with rubber band instead of tape. This company rocks, my order was shipped out right away as fast or faster than Amazon!!! I also have a great appreciation for AMERICAN companies owned and operated by those who choose to defend this GREAT COUNTRY despite the the PISS POOR CAREER POLITICIANS that run her!!! GO TRUMP.... A TRUE NON POLITICIAN!!!
Well made trigger with the pre travel screw. When it is adjusted the trigger is against the wall just waiting to fire.
First time purchasing products from mcarbo for my KSG. I purchased several items, ie; trigger, extended tube selector and take down tools. I received my order extremely fast. Now that it is finally together, I love the aluminum trigger. I also installed the spring kit. Chris made getting that clam shell back together. Look so easy in the installation video, but it is not! Took me at least 10 tries before I finally got the pins to align with the other side of the lower. Hopefully it goes easier for you, but I would expect some frustration. Never taking that lower apart again!
I purchased the KSGtrigger kit and the target trigger from M*Carbo. The pieces are all high quality and the tutorials are excellent and easy to follow. my installation was easy except for one part, which was my own fault. Somehow I mixed up the read (long) pin and the Center pin and messed with that for quite some time. I could not get the trigger housing back together and thought it was mis-alignment of the other pins with springs. After quite some time, (Am not going to say how long as it is embarrassing), I realized my error and had the gun back together in 15min. Trigger is much smoother and lighter. No play or over-travel whatsoever. Very Happy. Have purchased other parts for PF9 based on this experience.

MCarbo was great – I ordered from them for the first time during the coronavirus crisis when many shops were shut down and the ones that were open were taking 1-2 weeks to fill orders. MCarbo filled and shipped my order the same day I placed it and I received it within 2 days of ordering it. All the parts were high quality,especially this trigger. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.
I did do the spring upgrade at the same time, but even if you don't want to change out your springs this trigger is awesome... you have Zero uptake using the set screw... and when you get in there to install this and or the spring kit... you'll see that the sear is fairly rough but not as delicate as AR surfaces and angles... so you can easily do a basic polish job on it while in there.

I just bought the KSG trigger upgrade and the spring kit. The stock trigger and springs were not horrible but after installing the MCARBO parts, my KSG operates more like a fine tuned weapon than a shotgun!! The ability to eliminate the pre travel and reduce the trigger pull makes shooting the KSG more enjoyable and far more accurate. The consistent pull and break allows incredible accuracy with a shotgun!! I love all the MCARBO parts so far!!
