Changed out the trigger kit and I ended up w/a 6# trigger one # lighter than the original. Trigger travel was better, but really wanted the trigger pull at 3 to 4#'s as stated. So in my opinion if you are looking for less trigger travel, buy it. Would love M Carbo to step up and make it right. We all pay for certain products and expect them to work like advertised.
Followed along with Chris's video and it was easy to do. I would recommend a few updates to the video, (placing the safety switch, and close ups). The trigger feels great, and I cannot stop dry firing it!!
Nice trigger pull reduction. Best used with the aluminum target trigger. I will say, I had a hard time installing it. Not as easy as other reviews have said (I think they are bragging). Top quality product, though, ksg lower is just difficult.
Worth the money but not a marked improvement, TBH. I installed this at the same time as the aluminum trigger. Not difficult. Well made. Precise. But no, I did not end up with anything near a "3.5 pound trigger pull!". But I do not care. The trigger eliminates the pretravel and the springs lighten up the pull a bit, so I am very pleased. Like I said, well worth the cost.
Excellent kit. I’ve done my own trigger work for decades on a number of firearms. This one was the most challenging. If you do it yourself, watch the MCARBO video. It’s invaluable. Be patient. Do not force the lower receiver halves together. Keep working them and the pins will fall into place. Trigger and springs are a nice upgrade.
If you bought the trigger buy this. solid crisp trigger with no play. triggers and optics are the two best upgrades to any firearm

Excellent product, they really do work! Expect to take longer to put everything back together after a really easy installation, Kel-Tec could've made the lower easier to pop together with a couple of minor changes to their injection molds.
I purchased the combination of the trigger kit and the target trigger from M*Carbo. I followed the video instructions, and after fiddling with the lube on the trigger, and the rest of the innerworkings, I did finally get all the parts to come together, and adjusted the trigger to zero play in the trigger, which is way better than how the original setup was. Outstanding setup, great video for people who don't have fat fingers, and ultimately a 3.5 lb. trigger pull with no play - Outstanding!
This is an Awesome upgrade! add the Aluminum Trigger and polish the mating surfaces of the the sear and Wow!! Video was very helpful and now My son wants his own!
IT was installed with the trigger and the same will be said. Very Crisp trigger pull and good break. It is an improvement from Factory. It was hard to install as some pins did not want to line up but in the end it worked out fine.
Great upgrade, fixing the only thing I didn't like about this shotgun. Stock trigger is an embarrassment. This upgrade (trigger and spring kit) fixes this issue. Instructional video very well done and doing the upgrade only takes patience not skill.
I paired the springs and steel trigger and it got rid of almost all of the slop. Feels so much more solid and sleek. I couldn’t ask for a better trigger upgrade. Thank you MCARBO. I hope to see more for the ksg and rdb
I did this in addition to the trigger kit. It is not a difficult install, just take your time and watch the video. The only thing that was a slight issue is I had a Talon grip sticker installed, and that had to be removed to separate the grip. Just keep that in mind.
If getting the TRIGGER you need to get the SPRING KIT!! Trigger and Spring Kit made a world of a difference. Video was easy to follow. I RECOMMEND BOTH TO ALL KSG OWNERS!!!. 4.5LB squeeze...less than 1/4" travel, then a crisp clean Break!!
This is the perfect compliment to the M*CARBO Aluminum Trigger. The installation of the aluminum trigger and spring kit make a big difference in the action and trigger pull on the KSG. One of the best optional upgrades to the KSG!
