Works perfectly! It does make loading more difficult so I install it when shooting clays because of the high number of shells impinging my wrist during a full day and leave it off when stored for personal defense. I doubt I'd be too concerned with the ejection in that circumstance. Hope to never find out...
Works Well. Easy to install. Solid construction. My only complaint is that the deflector makes it more difficult to load shells into the left tube. Right tube, not an issue. One design improvement I would consider would be either making a quick disconnect feature to where one could quickly and easily remove the deflector or possibly "hinged" out of the way to make loading and clearing a jam easier.
Thank you for the quick shipment of the deflector. It installed quickly and maintains the gun's fluid look with the piece. Can't wait to test it out. Thanks!
Installation was fast and easy. Not only does it protect your arm, it also helps to stabilize your arm when shooting. Solid product.
Adds a cool factor and shells dont wack ya in the wrist which is a plus but it doesnt stop the shells from fall to your footing area , overall I'm happy with it .
The updated design is more efficient and that makes loading easier. Recommend.
This is a must for your KSG. Deflects the shells just like it should, away from your wrist and your feet.
Install took about five minutes. Very sturdy and looks good. Keeps shells from under your feet to slip on. Better priced than other brands as well.
I am glad I got this deflector, I have seen many people with the burn from the shell discharge. It is smaller than expected and not intrusive. It definitely looks better than the first gen. Loading shells is not so hard, but you can only load from the side that doesn't have the deflector, but that doesn't bother me.
Excellent add to the KSG, didn’t interfere with loading or ejects.
This is a must for getting the spent cell casing to stop hitting your wrist.
Saves your wrist from being impacted by the brass upon rapid ejection. Keeps spent hulls away from feet.
Concerned the rounds would bust up my wrist after repeated round drops (they hurt like hell) I bought this. Easy install however I was a bit confused as it came with different screws. I used the OEM screws and it fit just fine.
Only had five boxes of shells run through it total. Mix of birdshot, slugs, and buck. Ran three boxes today, and the rear screw seems like it snapped off at the tip under recoil and is now just a tad too short to reach the nut. Great design and it worked as advertised, but now I need a new screw and don't know where to go about finding one.
I haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet but easily installed. my only question is: why add new screws to the kit? isn't it possible to just send spacers that fit current screws and shield? Utilize the standard screws that came with it? They're 'larger' and seem more robust. thanks,
Although the deflector makes the KSG a little more tedious to load (fast reloads not happening anyway, with or without) the benefit of not having the spent shells hit me on the wrist/forearm is great. The design and fit of the deflector are good as well. Would definitely buy again.
