This tool worked absolutely flawlessly for the follower nuts. Couldn't ask for better tool or company! Don't forget you'll be needing the mag plug wrench as well.
Alright after buying the Hi Vis and tool kit earlier for my KSG 12, had to replace the ones on my new KSG25. KSG25 came with a aluminum follower that had a translucent faded orange paint. Not easy to see in low light environments. After experiencing the HI VIS followers function. I had to replace the new OEM ones with the MCARBO one If there were any 3 items I could upgrade on any KSG, these followers would be as my new upgrade, on my top three. NO stickiness while loading, plus the Hi Vis is easy to notice when you are on your last one through the notches of the top of the Mag Tube or when on empty underneath
I had an early model KSG12 with the white plastic followers that would every once and a while hangup. I couldn't pass up on this Great innovative upgrade, PTFE Coated followers. No sticky spots when loading anymore, plus I love the opaque Hi Vis Orange. Easy to teach others to know that when they see orange they're out.
I bought the red followers, the tool to replace them, the shell deflector, the muzzle remover tool, the handle plug and the bayonet spikes. All were perfect quality and look great on the gun. The tools to get the job done as well as the installation videos made working on the gun easy as pie. Good quality product, I choose the orange followers. The Video was very helpful. The torque they described in the takedown was not as extreme as described. Relatively easy to break loose. I ended up with two barrel nut tools. The chrome tool did not fit, six prong, properly. The black normal finish worked great. Again Great Video...

This is a great bundle. The tool makes for an effortless install and rejuvenates the smoothness in the magazines. It also seems to load and eject more reliably making for more enjoyable range time.
Superior followers. Why would you stick with the plastic OEM followers? Buy the removal tool with the followers. The tool makes installation straightforward. Video tutorial on how to use the tool & install the followers is very helpful.
So I had a broken mag spring in my KSG. ( Kel-Tec sent me two new ones under warranty ,,, I think they may have issues with this) and I wanted the right tool for it. This is that tool! However, on MY KSG after digging into it probably could have made one. But I did not want any issues and did not have time to cut my own. Mcarbo shipped fast, good communication and their product is well made in the US of friggin A ... by patriots! With there tool, SS mag followers and Kel-Tec's springs ( I wish Wolff made for the KSG) my rig is back in service and ready to defend the home front, deer hunt ... and a lot of fun. I just got my KSG-12 shotgun and I am very happy. Unfortunately the white followers it came with were getting stuck and would sometimes stick and other times not. I was not happy. Tried to clean them out and nothing worked. Found the M-Carbo sight and bought the Hi-Vis Red followers and replaced the white ones. Of course I cleaned the magazine tubes again and these work excellent. No more sticking and very smooth, work great. Well worth buying and the removal tool worked great. I like the how to videos as well. Keep up the great work, you have a loyal customer for life.
There is no comparison to the factory followers, these are so smooth when you go too reload that KSG should get these from you guys!!!
Because they are effing LEGIT! They are beautiful, not orange like you think, it’s like a piece from Iron Mans suit - so well crafted. So glad I didn’t get the chrome. I waited about 3 weeks for these, well worth it. Install was absolutely fun - followed Chris’ video step by step - used ALL of the tools recommend (no cutting corners), everything installed perfectly, and they look amazing. One detail: one of the barrels had a slight little piece of metal hindering me pushing out one of the followers (right side), I had to sand just a bit on the inside (avoiding the threads), than I had to take a pretty sturdy dowel and punch that ho out! Little CLP and it was biz as usual. Listen to what Chris says!!!! There is tension!! Use the tools and follow the simple instructions.
The followers are a lot better than stock and with the tool it comes with makes the job of replacing them a breeze. The tool also works with the mag plug removal where the wrench tool didn't fit. Great Product!!!
