Very easy to install. I haven't shot my SKS yet with the new trigger spring installed but I could tell the difference just by dry firing it. Very smooth and a lot lighter trigger pull.
I can't believe that with one spring I gould get a 3-lbs trigger pull f--king amazing. I had a 6-lbs pull down to 3, smooth, with no hesitation. What's funny is that I have 2 sks, and the 2nd spring I just installed it. i'm 62 year old veteran and enlisted in 1976, just missed nam by 3 years, I got my 1st sks in the 101st airborne fort campbell kentucky in 1977. and after 42 years, it's smooth. I love my sks. Thanks for making it smooth again.
When I ordered the spring kit, I had emails updating me throughout the entire shipment. Once I received the spring kit, I had a follow up email making sure I received it and the instructions on how to install it. The spring was a breeze to in stall following the supplied instructions. A world of difference from the factory spring to the 2.5 lb spring I installed. I would recommend this item to whomever has an SKS. The help the emails the follow ups were Amazing. Plan on ordering lots of other items!!

Shot my Russian SKS earlier today with the MCarbo spring kit and wow! Nice and smooth trigger pull.
Installation was simple. I'd estimate the new trigger pull weight at half the original weight.
Awesome product and very easy to install . I used the 2.5 # sear spring . It made the trigger pull on my Norinco SKS much lighter . I also polished the sear and made the trigger travel much smother . I went the range yesterday and I shot a 1 1/2 inch 6 shot group at 100 yards off the bench . My groups used to be about 3 inches at 100 yards . I wish I would had known about these Mcarbo spring kits a long time ago . My SKS has an after market stock and a rear peep sight with a bipod and use a rear bag . I also bought the Trigger spring kit for my AR15 . It made the trigger pull much lighter on that rifle also .
I ordered this spring kit for one of my SKS's. I was very skeptical of the kit as there is not a lot you can do for the triggers in these rifles short of shipping them out to get a fair amount of gunsmith work. I figured for the price though it will replace the old springs, so I am not really out any money. WOW I was surprised. The springs to get rid of all the take up, which they wont, that is not what they are designed for. What I can tell you my trigger breaks at an average of 2.63lbs. Definitely worth the money

I installed the 2.5 lb trigger spring kit in my chicom sks. I couldn't believe the difference, I can now hit a nats eye at 1000 yards....well ok maybe not but it's smoother and lighter. I love it and with the instruction video it was easy to do. Thank you

I installed the 2.5# spring, the creep is nearly gone, and it doesn't seem as rough. I haven't had my gunsmith check the trigger pull yet. But it's ALOT lighter, and feels good.
This kit is easy to install and took the trigger from over 12 lbs. to about 4 lbs. instructions are good, but I will say on this particular rifle getting the trigger module back in was a bear. Eventually I had to use a rubber mallet to get it to seat back in the receiver. Well, worth the money!!
Yes I received my parts and have already installed the trigger spring. It works great!!! Your service was great. Really liked the ease of tracking the order. One thing on the spring installation, I had to really hammer hard on the pin retaining the spring!!! I mean really hard!! I was really glad that I bought the tool and punches. The new 2.5# spring made the pull so much smoother. I wasn’t really sure I wanted to change the spring, however after watching your installation view I wanted to try it and I’m really glad I did!!! I was in the NM National Guard and Army Reserve’s during the Vietnam area, but didn’t see any active duty. I really appreciate you veterans and what you have and are still doing, without you guys this country would not be what it is today. Thank God we now have a president that loves our military and also does what it takes to keep it strong. I just received and installed the SKS trigger spring kit. It is a simple installation, watch MCarbo's video and anyone can do it. If you own an SKS, do yourself a favor and buy this trigger spring kit. Cut my trigger pull weight in half with no creep and a very crisp break.
I purchased the SKS spring kit for my Chinese Norinco SKS. The delivery was extremely fast. The installation was easy when following the online instructions. The stock trigger measured at 4.5# and the new 2.5# spring reduced it to about 3#. When testing it at the range I noticed that the rifle is now more accurate as the trigger is now much smoother with less force required to reach the break point. The modest price for this kit makes this a must have for the serious SKS shooter.
