I got a chance last weekend to shoot my sks . I installed the 2.5 spring its like shooting a different gun .I can group like shooting a sniper rifle and release mag with one hand . simple fix for a big problem without spending a lot money.
Installed on my Russian SKS. Went from 6 pounds to 3 pounds trigger pull. Much improved, and very happy. Ordering another for my second SKS. The negative review by Lou F. should be ignored. He must think the SKS is a high performance Benchrest target Rifle, not a battle gun made by a Third World country. 🙄😂

My Russian SKS had a terrible 6-7 pound pull and a rough-gritty trigger. After searching the web i decided on M-CARBO because of it's five star rating. Shipping very-very fast. I installed the 2.5 pound trigger with help of there install video on you tube. What a difference!!!!Now I have a smooth 2.5 - 2.79 pull. Difference as night and day. Also size of my groups are smaller now.
Installed in a Yugo M59/66A1, made trigger pull great, as advertised, delivery was great, watch the video.

I ordered a SKS Trigger spring kit and it was shipped to me in 3days. FAST!! Directions were great. NO change to my trigger pull though. To be fair, My trigger was horrible before I installed new spring. It drags in two places before let of. Measured 18 lbs so to be fair, no spring would help that. Will stone and polish sear then it will make a difference. To many of my friends have the kit and it worked great for them. My rifle was a new Norinco that had never had more than 20 rds fired since purchase.
Installation on my Russian SKS was basically very easy. Punching the pin out was somewhat harder than expected but I did it! Installed the 2.5lb. spring. Trigger is noticeably lighter. Next will be some range time to verify results.
Awesome product! Getting pin out on my Norinco was challenging but not too bad. Took to the range and now trigger has a smooth Predictable break at around three pounds! Everyone should do this to thier Sks!
The spring is well suited for lighten the trigger pull! While I don’t know exactly how much has been reduced, the difference is significant and distinctive. Installation instructions where spot on. Took the opportunity to file down some of the rough edges making the trigger pull very smooth. Glad MCARBO had what I needed. Looking forward to being on the range next weekend to really feel the results.

Got the trigger spring kit for my 1954 Russian SKS. I took it to a friends and installed there. It was actually very simple installation and really works great, pull weight was 3.11 every time. That was with the 2.5 lb spring. While I was there my friends nephew showed me his closet queen Chinese SkS that was as cherry as I’ve ever seen. It was a gift to him when he was 10. I bought it for 300 and put the 3.5 lb spring in it. The Chinese SKS was quite a bit more difficult to install, and I was being very careful with this beauty, anyway the trigger breaks at a little over 4 lbs. Also I did not hear any “ting” after hammer fall. As far as I’m concerned these springs are a great improvement over stock on both rifles. Thank You MCARBO if I had not ordered this spring kit and taken it to my friends house I would not have gotten an unissued beautiful Chinese SKS for 300.
