My felt trigger pull has been easily halved. Thanks for these springs guys.
Im from Canada and here SKS's are very common, 3 of my close buddies i shoot and hunt with own them, But nobody that i talked to from local gun shops to Canadian importers had a trigger / Sear spring M*Carbo though not by any means local to me did have an aftermarket spring kit available and ment i could finish my Tapco SKS build Instillation went easily, Chris and the tutorial on YouTube was easy to understand and simple to follow. If you're still guessing because your unsure, i can say personally i dont care what the costs of shipping accross the hole of USA to where i am in canada because M*Carbo's staff made my experiance awesome and earned my future business
This spring completely changed the way my trigger pull feels on my yugo. It used to be really heavy and rough and now it feels very light and predictable. For the money this is one of the best upgrades for an awesome rifle platform!

Spring made big change in the trigger pull. I would recommend changing the trigger spring o anyone owning a SKS.
with some more file work on the sear i'm sure i can resolve the grainy-ness, i don't think the trigger pull is quite down to 2.5 pounds but its definitely below 4 pounds now which is a major improvement for my para.
This spring kit coms comes with two different springs to choose from. I choose the 3.5lb spring because after installing the the lighter 2.5lb spring, it seemed like the magazine release was really light and one little bump would have dropped my load. The 3.5lb spring seems like a much better option even though a would like a lighter trigger but I am going to shave down the sear to get rid of that creap which will help. I suggest being careful pounding that pin out because if you bend the trigger assembly, you will need to either get a new trigger assembly or fix it. While you have it apart, take a fine sharpening stone to the edges of the sear to make it a smooth trigger action.
Ugly Chang, the Type 56 SKS, definitely needed some help with the trigger. He's accurate enough but the trigger pull was was like pulling an anchor through gravel. Install was easy and problem free. I installed the 2.5 lb spring but thought it was a little too light and went with the 3.5 lb spring. After some light polishing, I slapped him back together and man, what a difference! I forgot to do a trigger pull test before I took the old spring out but you van instantly tell a BIG difference. Headed out to the range now to test it out. PROTECT THE 2ND!!!!!!
Ordered your SKS Trigger Spring Kit for my '60s Arsenal 26 Chicom "bring back". Original trigger was better than most, but your spring made a marked improvement. I recommend this simple modification before you spend more money and send the trigger assembly out for "smoothing".
Ordered 2 sets for 2 SKS’s. Installed one via the very clear and enthusiastic video. Super simple. Did an immediate side by side comparison to the 2nd Sks that had not been updated. Big difference. Swapped out the next one immediately. Sent a 3rd to my brother.
Put this spring into my Yugo SKS and it made the rifle even more fun to shoot and improved my groupings. Chris followed up personally and I could not be happier. Great product and outstanding service. Semper Fi
