Easy order process and super fast shipping (48-hrs!) Brought the SKS Trigger Spring Kit to my door. It took me about 8-minutes to pull the trigger group out, drive out a retaining pin, exchange the factory sear spring with the 2.5# MCARBO spring, drive the pin back in, and reinstall the trigger group. This made a huge difference in felt trigger pull of my 1990 Norinco SKS which I purchased new for $145.00. The trigger still has some creep, probably 1/2 what it was. The trigger now breaks very cleanly though and I'm guessing it is about 2/3 lighter than with the factory spring. This is a huge improvement that will do wonders for accuracy! Thanks MCARBO!!!

I purchased the trigger spring for my Yugoslavian model 59/66 SKS, I found it to be everything it was advertised to do a nice smooth trigger pull almost as good as my match rifle, I'm glad to see that Carbo was able to enhance the performance of my SkS where I actually enjoy shooting now good job guys. I installed the kit per the video. My trigger pull was originally 5.5 lbs. After installing the 2.5 lb trigger, my trigger pull went to over 6 lbs. Tried the 3.5 lb trigger and got the same result. It is easy to install, but did nothing for my trigger.
WOW! put the 2.5lb spring into my SKS and now my old Nerinco rifle's trigger can compete with some much newer rifle's trigger pull. Easy install and super results. would definitely recommend for any SKS owner.
I highly recommend this trigger spring kit. I the original spring was absolutely awful at pull of about 9lbs. I in stalled the 2.5 and it's a huge improvement. There is still a lot of travel, but that's a Russian design.
Holy smokes!!! Took 10 minutes to install and made my Tula 1951 trigger feel more like a modern rifle trigger! For best results I would recommend cleaning out the whole trigger assembly. I would recommend this to anyone to wants a better feeling trigger in their old Russian gun.
Looks to be a quality product and a very easy install, watch the video first. The trigger pull is definitely lighter (by feel as my friends gauge is not working properly). A worthwhile mod to the SKS. Definitely a small price to pay for a nicer trigger and the service has been excellent, immediate shipping and arrived quickly, great communication. Great vendor. Thanks.
found that the spring pull had nearly 8 plus pounds to pull, didn't like it installed the 3.5 now found just under 5 feels fine to me and I can still drop more with lighter spring yet to be used
It took me the better part of 3 days, off and on, of trying to drive the pin out, giving up when I started getting frustrated and getting worried I was going to break something. Once the pin was finally driven out however, the replacing of the spring was a snap. Pull the mag release, remove old spring, put in new one, reinstall mag release, drive pin back in. Done. The trigger really does improve with this upgrade, and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone who got their hands on the recent influx of Chinese SKS' that Classic Firearms got in.
