This may appear to be just a notched dowel rod. However, I found this item to be quite clever, simple and handy!!! I highly recommend purchasing one for spring installation. You won’t regret it!!! Thank you again mcarbo.com !!!!!
If I had dowels laying around the house, I probably would have spent 15 minutes making my own version. But for $2, I couldn't resist adding it to my cart. Just get it. You'll be glad you did.
Super fancy? Nope. Super efficient? Absolutely. Disassembly and reassembly would be a nightmare without it. Works great.

For a couple bucks, this tool really makes the hammer spring installation much easier. Would highly recommend to save yourself some frustration.

For $1.95 why wouldn’t you buy it? It makes removing and installing the hammer spring easy but most importantly it blocks the hammer spring hole to allow the trigger return spring to just glide on by during reassembly.
