So much better than OEM.
This is SO much better than the stock mag release. Bonus--when reassembling the Sub-2000, you no longer need to put an empty magazine into the handle to hold this assembly. It was worth opening the gun up a second time to install this, the steel feed ramp and the steel pins.
5 STARS and the fastest and cheapest shipping around. I love this product from these guys made from the highest quality material. Fits the Sub 2000 gen 2 like a glove, will buy from M*CARBO again.

This is a definitive improvement over the standard magazine release that comes with the Sub 2000, but you will have to open up your gun in order to install this. I was able to get away with just loosening up the pistol grip and separating it enough to slide this in.
This really is a huge improvement over the factory mag release.
Definitely made a real difference by reducing the need to lose grip to eject a spent mag. Have installed all relevant M*Carbo parts for my S2k 9mm multi-mag except muzzle brake, and that is next. Have absolutely no complaints about M*Carbo's products, delivery, and concern for customer satisfaction. Looking forward to what M*Carbo comes up with next for the Sub 2000!!
I like the extended magazine release. My original worked just fine, but the extended release is even better. It is much better to index and fits just like the oem release. Easy to install.
Vast improvement over both the factory nub and the quality of the synthetic used in the production (tho' as it is not the actual contact area that locks into the magazine, but only secures that piece, it is not a major issue) The biggest benefit is how it allows you to have a larger surface area to access to release your magazine, is not in the way of gripping the firearm and prone to accidental manipulation and ejection and primarily allows you to retain your full grip on the weapon while changing mags. As with all of the products that I have used from MCARBO, it fits perfectly and needs no modification to install!
The video could of been a little more specific for the extended mag release, it was confusing having both glock and this mag release on the same video. My mistake.
Nice , great purchase for quick mag changes. If you go this far of crackin open your sub, just do the trigger job and feed ramp while inside. Also buy the armors wrench. Yea Nice . Love my sub .. Thanks Terry . Retired city police officer/ SWAT , 33 1/2 years service.
The extended mag release has now allowed this old arthritic enthusiastic the ability to drop the mag without changing my grip on the firearm. Works great and the quality of the piece is excellent.
