Some instructions would have helped, but it wasn't that hard to figure out. Otherwise the loader works great and is a good product
I've owned both the Keltec PMR30 and the CMR30 for years... loading the Keltec mags was always a PITA... dented cases, overlapped rims, loading issues, feed issues... if you've got either of these firearms, you know the problems. And I've tried a variety of mag loaders specific for the Keltec mags... the best I've found was the Maglula LULA loader, and even that wasn't foolproof. Considering issues I've had with the Keltec OE mags, I jumped at the chance to try MCarbo's new steel mag for the PMR/CMR and then noticed MCarbo offered a speedloader specific to their magazine. The combination of MCarbo magazinbe, loaded using the MCarbo speedloader worked flawlessly! Despite the stout magazine spring, loading the MCarbo mag was a breeze. No dented cartridge cases, no overlapping rims, and no fighting the spring to load those last five or so rounds! It is easy to load the full 31 rounds the new mag allows. Now, let's hope as production ramps up, that MCarbo lowers the cost of those new magazines back down to earth so I can afford to get a dozen or so!
Received an MCarbo speed loader for these new stainless steel magazines. The speed loader is simple to use, and is a breeze to load cartridges into the new MCarbo magazine. Highly recommend having the speed loaded for these magazines. Your thumb will be grateful.
Fast shipping. Loaded all 30 rounds easily. The silver knob on the side does not screw in or out. It’s spring loaded. Just pull it out slightly to move the pin inside, flush with the inside of the loader, then you can slide it on. Once you get it on, release the knob and it will catch on the follower as you push it down to load more rounds. 5 stars! Oh, and the magazine is great too !
