this mCarbo charging handle is much better than the OEM handle that comes with the hi point 995ts. fits perfectly and looks much better. easy install too and if you view their video of the install even easier if thats even possible? glad I used their product and you gotta love the customer service they provide!
Came to Mcarbo looking for Ruger parts but came across this. As fun as the Hi-Point carbine is to shoot, I always disliked the factory charging handle. Not just because it's small to grab but also, because it's small to grab it also takes some effort to get it into the spot to lock it back. I knew I had to add this to my order when I saw it. This makes a huge difference and it's metal, not plastic. Especially at this price, it is worth every penny.

Upon purchasing the Hi-Point Carbine, the stock charging handle is noticeably less than ideal: small, difficult to control, and designed poorly, such that its many sharp grooves burrow into your skin. The charging handle by M*CARBO is not only more aesthetically pleasing, but its functionality makes it a huge improvement: easier to handle due to a larger surface area for grip and more controlled. The price-point and quality (American-made!) make this a solid investment.
This add on makes it much easier to operate the charging handle. Great addition to this firearm.
What's not to like.... Great quality and very install....
The High Point OEM charging handle fights a heavy spring with a short and small radius, abrasive surface. The Mcarbo carbon steel upgrade engages two fingers with an incised surface. Functional and comfortable. While you are in there...verify the loading ramp is lubed.
