I added this sling attachment to my Kel Tec sub 2000 and it is one of the best ways to carry the carbine with a single point sling. I use it when out on our property and carry the carbine folded up. It's like not having any extra weight to lug around. In the event I want deploy it I simply grab the buttstock, pull the release and it opens up in the correct direction to grab the bolt handle and charge it. Very easy and actually fast with some practice. Carrying with it folded eliminates the long rifle and stock swing around and getting in the way, very compact.
Easy to install and pairs perfectly with the bolt tube cover, good quality and looks factory. Would recommend to anyone who wants to hook up a single point QD to the Sub!

This is a great mount that still allows the recoil buffer pad to still slide on. Just remember the QD sling will only attach on once side, so figure out which side that is BEFORE mounting it. Otherwise you will do what i had to and take it off turn it over and tighten it again. Kinda of a pain to fix it so just make sure you put in on correctly the first time.
This QD attachment is quality no doubt. No issue with it whatsoever from a product perspective. The caveat is this ... I’d recommend the longer two-finger charging handle if you’re going to deploy this QD attachment. It sits very close to the charging handle, and if upgrade to the beefier recoil dampening charging handle, there’s just not much room left. I’m so impressed with MCARBO that once I finally comprehended that I have a metal collar, I ordered the double and will put the single in my box-o-parts. So IMHO ... if you have the metal collar and want to use the beefier recoil dampening charging handle - GO DOUBLE QD. If you have the plastic collar OR plan on using the two finger charging handle ... the SINGLE QD works great.
I purchased this single point mount for my sub 2000. It shipped quickly and I had it within a few days. This mount is lightweight and really easy to install. I use my sub for night competitions, and will be able to put it to the test soon. The only thing I can see right now is that the double sling mount (https://www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-single-point-sling-mount.aspx) could have been better for my application. This mount sits close to the charging handle, and could interfere with racking after changing mags. (I might cant it to the side on 45 degrees if it does.) This is my first purchase with MCarbo, and I am pleased so far!

I have had this upgrade for 4 years know and I love it.
Install was easy, and yes it did work with my Red Lion indexing forend,had to do a little trimming on the MCARBO bolt tube cover. Very pleased with the product. Thank you MCARBO.
Worked great! I wish it would have mounted on the coller instead of the receiver like the double sling mount does but they were back ordered. But overall I'm very pleased with it.M*CARBO got it in the mail super fast and they go out of their way to check and make sure that I was satisfied. We need more companies that go the extra mile.Thanks very much.I will use you guys again for my upgrade needs.
East to mount and is made good
I wish the clamp screw side didn’t stick out so far because I think it looks unsightly and I wish the screw head was a Torx head or something because I tightened the screw down snugly and the Allen wrench slot just rounded out real quickly with little effort. Hopefully I can get it back out and try to figure out a different type counter sunk screw or something. Kinda disappointed for the cost of the product.
This little ring fits perfectly, was delivered much sooner than I expected and was supported by their always helpful videos. M Carbo has provided an excellent array of upgrades and I have purchased many of them - all great! I love this company and the brotherhood it promotes.
High quality build and a perfect addition to the firearm. Makes the “rest” position much muuuuuch better than stock.
I added this to my Sub with the bolt tube cover, the skeletonized charging handle and the recoil buffer. Do them all at once. Must haves for your Sub!
