Install was very easy. I did it while watching the installation video that mcarbo provided. Every step was easy. It took 15 minutes and boy what a difference. Trigger pull now around 1lb and it breaks good. I have used their kits on many CZ pistols and they work great and the cost is way better than other manufacturers. Shipping was super fast as always. Thanks again for the great service.
The stock Marlin trigger pull weight is good but this spring makes it better, a nice 3 lb. 5 oz. pull weight on mine now.
My XT-17 didn't NEED a lighter trigger, but it got one anyway. Without adjusting the adjustable trigger, it went from 3 1/2# to a 1 3/4# pull. Plus, it is smoother somehow. So far, I did my Marlin 795, Remington 870 Wingmaster Magnum, and my XT-17. All were easy and greatly improved the trigger pull and feel.
No problem with install. Video was very helpful. Now, to the range. Trigger pull much better.

My trigger that was properly lubricated and had been thru about 150 rounds read 2.2 pounds on a simple spring scale. After the MCarbo spring was installed I got 1.5 pounds. And the action was still smooth and crisp. Well worth the small amount of money and time involved.
I ordered this trigger spring kit for my Marlin XT-22 MR (.22 Magnum) after a previous install that I did on my Marlin XT-22 (.22 Rimfire). The trigger pull on my MR was 3 & 1/2 pounds and after my install it reduced down to 2 & 1/2 pounds. The MR is brand new and I haven't shot it yet and my thinking is after I shoot it multiple times, the trigger pull may actually decrease a bit more. Even if it does or doesn't i'm still ahead of the game. I wish M*CARBO made trigger springs for every gun I own as I learn so much from the install process. The good thing is everyone can do it!
I installed the XT-22 trigger spring in my Marlin XT-22. I'd previously had a gunsmith reduced the trigger pull weight down to 1 & 1/2 lb. When I installed the M*CARBO spring the trigger pull increased to 2 lbs but it was a much smoother trigger pull. I can't tell the difference between a 1 & 1/2 and a 2 lb trigger pull but I can tell if the let off is smoother. I'm very happy with the results.
The only thing wrong with my XT17 was the trigger was just A little hard. No more, thanks to the trigger spring kit.This kit reduced pull by 1lb. making A near perfect trigger perfect.THANKS once again M;CARBO for your help and support as always A job well done.
Installation went smooth. Triigger pull went from 2.0 to 1.0 exactly as advertised. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a lighter trigger pull on the Marlin XT-22.
