Got the small spring for Tikka T3x superlite. Trigger was around 2.5lb which is certainly ok but not what I wanted. Watched the video. Ordered. Received in a couple of days. Change out took 5 minutes. 1.5lb. Crisp. Exactly what I wanted. Very happy.
Video on Youtube easy to follow steps. I know it is probably less than a dollar spring, but it makes a huge difference. I don't mind paying for your research and development. Great cheap trigger job.
I wanted to reduce my trigger pull weight on a Tikka CTR and didn't want to spend 200 bucks on an aftermarket trigger. There was a competitor that gets love for a spring so I looked up trigger springs for Tikka rifles on YouTube and found MCARBO. Very glad I did! The trigger feels as good now with this spring, as an aftermarket option that costs more than 10 times this spring. Installation is so simple and the videos are helpful, plus I appreciate veteran owned businesses as a veteran myself. Kudos on a great product and excellent customer service!
If you are looking for a 2lb or sub 2lb trigger for your Tika, look no further. The installation video is spot on. See the attached 100 yd 3 shot group. That’s about as good as I can shoot anything!
This kit works great for lower the trigger weight to what I prefer. I have upgrade 3 rifles now with it and the installations video is spot on. I recommend this kit for your Tikka rifle. What a difference it makes!
The installation went just fine, it's simple and easy to do. I used a small drop of super lube to hold the spring in place on the pin and some Loc Tite Blue on the set screw. I was skeptical after watching the video on You Tube . I thought it was too good to be true but didn’t cost much to see first hand so I ordered 2 for my Tikkas in 25-06 and 308. Shipping was fast and after about 10 minutes both rifles trigger pull were reduced 50%. From 3lbs to right at 1.5 lbs. The springs are less stiff and definitely smaller gauge material so I am wondering how long they will last but as for right now these factory triggers are sweet and can’t wait to check them out on some targets. Basically if you own a Tikka rifle this is a no brainer unless you just prefer a heavier trigger pull and not interested too much about precision. Thank you M Carbo.
Make sure you read the package. There is a benchrest only spring and a hunting spring. Installation is cake as long as you have the proper tools which are outlined in the install video. Both of my tikkas had great triggers, but this kit put them at a whole new level. I ended up having to go back and tighten my adjustment screw almost all the way down because the trigger was almost too light for my liking. I don’t have a gauge, but I can assure you that my trigger is close to 2 lb. This is a great kit from a great company. They even sent me the installation videos link to make sure I was prepared to install my kits. (The videos are on YouTube also )
Every firearm I own have had extensive trigger work. Either handguns or rifles are not acceptable to me if the trigger pull exceeds 2 pounds. I have spent hundreds of dollars per unit to obtain the results I desire. M-Carbo gave me satisfaction for under $20.00 dollars. Easy to install, easy to adjust. This product just plain works. I have also bought the spring kit for an FN509. Lord, what a difference. I cant give this company enough positive kudos. They deliver what they advertise, a rare event in todays world.
I put M*CARBO trigger springs in multiple of my bolt-action rifles and these springs are absolutely amazing. These springs will make your factory trigger as good as any expensive trigger assembly replacements.
I received the trigger spring this week, and installed it on my Tikka CTR .308. Took it to the range today and what a difference. The trigger is light and crisp, without being too light. Installation was easy and I really appreciated the installation video on the web. I highly recommend the Mcarbo tigger spring!
I installed this spring on my T3X-TACA1. Installation was easy and straightforward. I had the factory 2 stage adjusted all the way out until it stopped when contacting the trigger screw. I did the same with the new spring and because the TAC-A1 doesn't use the metal shim, the adjustment screw will come out farther before stopping. It still passed the bump test, but the second stage "wall" all but disappeared! making it seem like a long travel single stage. This was easily fixed by simply adjusting the trigger adjusting screw clockwise until I felt that a slight wall of the second stage was re-established. I have not measured pull yet, but it's much better. In the case of my gun, I did blue Loctite the adjustment screw as it is no longer out to a point of contact with the trigger mounting screw. In short, great product!
Brought my trigger from 3.5# to 1.5# and a very easy install! Well pleased and would definitely buy again!
My Tikka T3x had a pretty good trigger. I ordered this kit because I prefer lighter triggers. I received it within a few days. Very fast shipping. Installed it and it is the best trigger I’ve ever owned.
I’ve installed this trigger spring in my tikka t3 and my tikka t3x and it cut my trigger pull weight in half in both. Install only took 5-10 minutes and it’s made my groups much tighter.
