    Question:
G'day All, I have a Gen 2 and at my last match the Safety Pin and Spring popped out of the safety(part 266). I ordered your Gen 2 Safety Pin and Spring Replacement. Cannot figure out how to get it to stay in. With the safety in the ON position, it's easy to drop the spring and pin into the tiny hole on the safety. I push the safety to OFF (the hole goes into the frame and I assume the spring and pin are now locked in), wrong. When I put the safety back ON(it's very sticky), it slides all the way back out and the spring and pin come out. The gun is assembled during my attempts, do I need to totally take it apart for this process? Looking at owners manual, not seeing another piece that I may be missing. Of course I could be wrong on that. Finding nothing on the internet or your website on this procedure. Thanks....terry

after posting yesterday I studied the manual again and noticed there are two C clips on the safety. Checked my Sub and the one on the fire side was missing. Ordered C clips and some more Sub 2000 stuff from you guys and hopefully everything will be good by early next week. regards...terry

Your safety is supposed to have 2 C clips that keep the safety from moving to far in either direction. If your safety moves far enough for the detent and spring to come out, then I would gather you are missing a C clip or two. If the C clips are there, you can send pictures to our Help@mcarbo.com email and we can take a look to better assist you.
