Awesome upgrade!
Added this spring to my SCCY CPX-2 and it has been a great upgrade to the firearm!
Stainless rod
Very easy to install. It fits perfectly, and is much better quality. It seems to have fixed the problem with the slide.
Was a bit skeptical at first
The xtra power guide rod is a “rch” shorter than the OEM guide rod that came with the Sccy Cpx-2. This freaked me out a bit…
Went to the range shot with the new xtra power guide rod and gun performed flawlessly- 300 rounds! No problems at all!
Upgraded stainless steel recoil spring/guide rod
This is the second upgrade I've bought from M*Carbo, and it definitely makes a difference in recoil. The first upgrade I bought was the spring kit.The lighter trigger pull, and the stronger recoil spring both add significant performance.
fast change
Easy switch , it made a big difference in my CPX-2
sensible improvement
Several things went into refining this firearm. I did the recoil spring first and also added a better tack-on grip. Those two things together made a big difference in the accuracy of the pistol. I did a little work on my own, without an aftermarket trigger spring that also helped with the rate of pull. I don't have a gauge, but ultimately the pull was reduced. I just installed the new trigger (also from this company) will review that when I get a chance to test it on the range.
recoil spring
Had a customer come in with a bent recoil guide. Upgraded him to the stainless one offered here. Easy to install and gave the gun that little extra.
Too short, too heavy.
Spring was just slightly too short, would pretty much just drop in. The length of the spring resulted in pistol not having as positive lockup as the factory spring. Spring was too stiff which resulted in about 25% failure to eject using same ammo that is 100% reliable with the factory spring. I was advised by the manufacturer in response to my complaint "Usually putting a few hundred rounds through it will help the spring." The rate of failure to eject takes all the enjoyment out of an otherwise 100% firearm. I don't see myself burning through "a few hundred rounds " to break it in.
a couple questions, does this guide rod assembly work in the dvg1 model, and do you have the guide rod assembly for the cpx3..thanks
Will this be a fit for the DVG-1? If not, is one in the works?

We have not tested it in the DVG series, so I can not guarantee if it will work or not.
Does it work for the new gen3
No, It is just a little to short for the Gen3
Does the stronger spring effect any ammo as far as slide cycling concerned?

Our parts are tested with stander velocity ammo, we won't know how it will be affected by any other ammunition
