Must have upgrade!!!! I encourage you to do all the upgrades at once!!! This the second time I have had mine apart. First time was the trigger and trigger spring kit then they came out with the trigger guard and wanted to wait to see what else they were going to come out with. Sure nuff they came out with the upgrade pin kit so I did the trigger guard, pin kit and screw kit at same time. Awesome guys!!!!! Keep it up. and hurry up with the upgraded sights!!!!!

Nice product but should be sold with upgraded grip pins. Using screws alone is like using oem screws.

Not screwed by screws

The hex screws are a heck of a lot more attractive, and seem to have more positive hold than the stock Philips screws. Have two sets of Allen wrenches to assist with installation...turning one screw rotates the entire housing, so the other screw must be held stationary.

These screws are harder that the stock screws, and are a full set for a little over what I would have to pay to get a single replacement screw.

Knowing that I have MCARBO's trigger, springs and screws in my Sub 2000 gives me peace of mind that my gun functions better and is as solid of a firearm as I can make it.

Listen, you’ve just bought a sub2000. You’re looking around for aftermarket upgrades and are thinking.. “do I really need “upgraded” screws?”. Now let me tell you this, the screws from factory are horrendously cheap. In fact, I bought the steel feedramp from mcarbo and went to install. I had never taken it apart before and only had it for a couple weeks. I removed all the screws until the last one.. stripped from the factory. Downside wasn’t that I couldn’t take it apart. The downside was as I was trying to get a bigger size Allen key hammered in all the internal components started falling about inside. Meaning I had to remove the screw to fix the firearm. This meant I had to go buy a screw extractor and buy a replacement screw. This simple 10 min job turned into about 3 hours. How long until another cheap factory screw strips out? If you are buying all the upgrades at once and plan on doing all upgrades in one takedown then take your chances. If you plan on implementing the upgrades slowly as you get the money and will be disassembling the firearm multiple times then please take my advice and buy the upgrades screws.

You can tell the difference right out of the package. Installed these while installing your new springs and trigger kit. Highly recommend all these products.

If you've ever had to disassemble and reassemble anything more than a few times, you know that having hardware that's two classes harder than the OEM is a plus, plus. It's a no brainer.

I installed this simple upgrade so I wouldnt have to worry about striping screws. Unfortunately one of the screws (barrel hinge point) has a mis-shaped head and stripped out right away with very little torque applied. The rest of the screws were perfect. I believe I just received one bad one. Can expect them to check them all I guess.

Nice screws however buy a good quality Hex/Alan Key's I completely stopped a harbor freight set of Hex keys. I believe the screws are Okay. One thing that could be helpful is to give out the torque specs because my snug is that of a tractor macanic.

I hadn't planned to by these but tossed them into my order 'just in case' ... and I was glad I did. Removal of two of the OEM screws proved troublesome enough that their hex heads stripped out a little. I'm picky about how my gear looks (i.e. I take care of it, so I don't like it looking dinged up or stripped out), so having these replacements on hand proved prudent, and I replaced them all for good measure.
