What a great upgrade. it’s just a beginning. I plan on getting the rest of the upgrades for my sub 2000. These guys are awesome.

Listen, you’ve just bought a sub2000. You’re looking around for aftermarket upgrades and are thinking.. “do I really need “upgraded” screws?”. Now let me tell you this, the screws from factory are horrendously cheap. In fact, I bought the steel feedramp from mcarbo and went to install. I had never taken it apart before and only had it for a couple weeks. I removed all the screws until the last one.. stripped from the factory. Downside wasn’t that I couldn’t take it apart. The downside was as I was trying to get a bigger size Allen key hammered in all the internal components started falling about inside. Meaning I had to remove the screw to fix the firearm. This meant I had to go buy a screw extractor and buy a replacement screw. This simple 10 min job turned into about 3 hours. How long until another cheap factory screw strips out? If you are buying all the upgrades at once and plan on doing all upgrades in one takedown then take your chances. If you plan on implementing the upgrades slowly as you get the money and will be disassembling the firearm multiple times then please take my advice and buy the upgrades screws.
Carbon Steel better than OEM soft screws

These are great replacement screws that will last as lon as you have the rifle. MCARBO also sells these screws along witht ht Grip pins as a package and if you ever need to open up your Sub-2000 this is a must buy upgrade. Kel=tec uses aluminum posts and lower grade screws than these and they tend to strip out and make things difficult to open up. If you are upgrade the innards of your Sub 2000 add the screws and pins.
Good screwing

Great quality screws. By themselves but even better with steel pin kit. I already had a crossed screw in factory aluminum pins out of box. This is a must do in conjunction with all other internal components, cause you gotta take her down that fat to do these. NOW IS THE TIME, ONE AND DONE! DO IT ALL! take care of all the compromised cost cutting measures to keep price down of the factory..stock was engineered to be obviously ,for an occasional back pack truck gun usage. Make it a daily lifetime shooter on and done with changing out all justifiably wearable parts. These were a must do for me.easy install when videos are viewed, or with proper skills without

These screws are an easy and great way to update your Kel Tec. They are high quality and will outperform the original ones. I highly recommend.
Buy the pin and screw kit together

Screws are a sweet upgrade but don’t be cheap. Buy the pins and screws and pins together in the kit. You will want the pins, believe that!
Work great, already Rusting

I purchased the all in one trigger job bundle which came with the carbon steel screws and grip pins. However just a short 3 months after install I noticed rust beginning to build up on the screws. I live in the south in deep East Texas about 35 miles west of the louisiana border so rust is not something I'm unfamiliar with. However, the rest of the gun is doing just fine and I usually keep everything covered with a layer of lubricant as to fight off rust when not in my safe. I'm not sure if I should pop them out and hit them with some corrosion resistant paint or not.
Some what satisfied

I installed this simple upgrade so I wouldnt have to worry about striping screws. Unfortunately one of the screws (barrel hinge point) has a mis-shaped head and stripped out right away with very little torque applied. The rest of the screws were perfect. I believe I just received one bad one. Can expect them to check them all I guess.
