Effective but with a Caveat
This is a definitive improvement over the standard magazine release that comes with the Sub 2000, but you will have to open up your gun in order to install this. I was able to get away with just loosening up the pistol grip and separating it enough to slide this in.

Sub 2000 extended mag release
Nice , great purchase for quick mag changes. If you go this far of crackin open your sub, just do the trigger job and feed ramp while inside. Also buy the armors wrench. Yea Nice . Love my sub ..

Ordered wrong Extended mag release
The video could of been a little more specific for the extended mag release, it was confusing having both glock and this mag release on the same video. My mistake.
Sub-2000 Extended mag release
The extended mag release has now allowed this old arthritic enthusiastic the ability to drop the mag without changing my grip on the firearm. Works great and the quality of the piece is excellent.

Definitely made a real difference by reducing the need to lose grip to eject a spent mag. Have installed all relevant M*Carbo parts for my S2k 9mm multi-mag except muzzle brake, and that is next. Have absolutely no complaints about M*Carbo's products, delivery, and concern for customer satisfaction. Looking forward to what M*Carbo comes up with next for the Sub 2000!!

I have 2 questions, is this an upgrade from the original mag release so that the metal mag from my 92 won't eventually break it a plastic release? #2 - will this fit a Hi Power mag?
The 92 mags will be making contact with the metal adapter. We never had a report of the magazine breaking the mag release.

Yes! This was designed to fit all the mag plate catches that Kel-Tec offers for their multi-mag grip. All you have to do is unscrew your plate and transfer it to this one. Just make sure it matches the right orientation!
This might be a silly question to ask and I'm not sure if anyone will know, but since this works with both gen 1 and gen 2 models will it allow for use of a gen 2 mag catch in a gen 1 rifle? I'm looking for a beretta mag catch for my gen 1, but it appears that Kel Tec no longer makes them with those parts listed on the site as gen 2 only. I'm sure there are probably issues other than something as simple as the piece it attaches to, but that's what I'm looking for
