The “Jaws” I received were 1’/1’ (roughly) , they did NOT have a “step-down” portion like the video shows. I was unable to get enough grip on the barrel (closed to plastic) with tape on barrel as the video showed.

I called customer service and was advised to remove the tape from barrel, the rep said the aluminum would not damage the barrel, removing the tape adds to grip.

I am still unable to tighten Vice enough to keep barrel from twisting, I’ve used pipes to add length the the vice handle

These are half the size shown in the video. If you are selling a product make sure you sell what you advertise. Not happy with them.

Needed These To Install Muzzle Break With Crush Washer ... They Worked! Had A Couple Of Muzzle Breaks Laying Around That Use The Crush Washer System (Which I Hate) .... I Prefer The Old Style Lock Washer Application For Muzzle Breaks, Etc. (No Vice Or Special Barrel Jigs Needed, Just A Couple Of Wrenches ... In The Field, At The Camp, Kitchen Table, Etc. Simple!) That's Why These Were Laying Around LOL! But These Worked And Now I Have A Wicked Looking Muzzle/Suppressor On My Sub 2K .... Yey!

Another Good Ideal/Product From Chris & The Folks @ M*CARBO .... Thanks!

Needs more development

The best thing about these are the magnets . The securing surface was a v and did not give the proper grip that a round surface would have provided. Wheeler makes a great one but, it is too big for the S2K. It has a round grip surface on an Aluminum block with a pressed in polyurethane insert which eliminates the need for the masking tape and prevents scarring. I would have used it but, I would have had to take the barrel out of the long hand guard. I broke the first vise and the second "$40" vise just did give enough grip to get the job done with a 12" cheater bar to tighten the thing. The vise in the video I found at Amazon. It was over $100. So much for not using the compression nut muzzle break. Although the finished job does look very nice. It is off 1/16 of an inch but, I am dang sure not going to re crush another compression washer with the instructed method.

No Problems Here!...

Double Tape Wrapped the barrel...

Used a cheater bar to tighten my vice.

Installed my Break 3FO-S Short Flash Hider (using the supplied crush washer)

Used a little grease & anti-sieze compound mixed...

Was able to (slow & steady) clock this flash hider with no issues

Worked Great!!! 🤗

Not the same one as in your install video

The ones I received are not the same as the ones in your install video. I replicated your video step by step and no matter how tight I got my vise the barrel turned and was scratched. Not a happy camper. Do not recommend these at all.

Not what shown in install

I recently ordered a 9mm muzzle brake for my KelTec Sub 2000 with the vise clamp that was recommended by M*Carbo. The install went great and it looks great. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. Can’t wait. But, thanks to M*Carbo for the recommendation, the parts, and mostly, the speedy shipping.

This Bud’s for y’all.

Many Thanks,

Scott H.

Terrible design

Stuck with the install, about 1/8” off the timing, the barrel spun and scratched the finish. Like many other reviewers , unhappy with the fact that jaws provided are smaller/different from the ones in install video. The old design was by far superior, covering a larger part and machined to match the configuration of the barrel. I’d have gladly paid more just to avoid this predicament or at least had a choice between two! by the way, tried two different vises and used a pipe to clamp it down.

Too small

These are about half the size of the step down set on the installation video. They didn't hold no matter how tight the vice was because they are so small. Scratched the crap out of the barrel. Tape didn't help either. I have bought almost everything they sell for my Sub 2000, this is the first problem I have had with them. Still a great company.

I got this to work...I did not use any tape, so it held the barrel tight (I did have to crank it down) and got it just how they showed in the video... aligned just right. Tested at the range and all was good... No damage to the barrel aesthetically...

I added a star, to not bring their average down, but I forgot something.

The customer service rep said that aluminum jaws cannot scratch steel. But it sure as hell stripped off the blue. I’d love to review the muzzle brake, but I can’t get it on without spending more money. The customer service rep suggested I should rerun my vice to a place with a sign that says “no returns” I wanted to buy mor MCARBO products, but I will not.

Seriously, your genius engineers decided to design a product with four points of contact , rather than one that is round with 360 degrees of contact?

Used correctly, they work.

Ok, so IF you use these right, they do work. Now, you get the jaws that are pictured. They are not the same as in the video, cost savings I guess. Put several wraps of tape around the barrel and you have to REALLY crank down tight, almost to the point you think you will break the barrel. The video is pretty much on point, other than you’ll receive smaller jaws. I’m glad I purchased them even IF it’s for a one use only time.
