Great service, great product easy to install ! I used a angled steel pick to remove wire retainer?
I waited until I put a few hundred rounds through my PMR 30 before reviewing. This upgrade not only giver the PMR 30 the recoil power to put a red dot on top but resolves the problem that the PMR 30 has with extracting.
Bought to fix the feed issue and it did that perfectly! The only issue i have is that it does it's job so well that when it ejects the round the slide is pushed forward fast enough that it catches round on the way out now, but that happens less often then my feed issue
The extra power spring really made my pmr slide feel really smooth. The video on how to install it was very descriptive. The only hard part is prying a little round ring off the spring side And not losing it. It would be nice if the kids could come with an extra ring in case you damage or lose the one you need to pry off.
Had some failures to feed, cycling issues, and falling out of full battery when shooting. Also had a few stovepipes. After careful loading, trying different mags, and several brands of ammo the pistol was still having reliability issues at least once or twice every 30 rds....The upgraded spring fixed all issues !!!
Now if you guys could just do something about that damn wire loop. I found clamping the spring down with a small set of needle nose vise grips, padded or pad rod. It allows you to work on it with both hands instead of trying to figure out how to hold a spring with one and pry a wire with the other
My new PMR 30 was not feeding, jamming 7 out of 10 shots! Discovered M-Carbo, ordered the extra power recoil spring set, and WOW!!! Running smooth and fast now....
Great product that works. The tricks in the reviews need to be captured in the install video. Also, a backup retaining wire would be good to add to the package from M-CARBO
It’s a challenge to get the spring clip on/off, but it runs great! Well made and an upgrade that’s worth the investment!
Followed the YouTube instructions & I am very pleased with the new recoil spring.
Warning if you dont have excellent hand strength, you might want to use a small vise or something else to hold onto the spring. That little damn ring is a pain also to get open and off. After that I ended up reusing the factory ring because the new one supplied with the new springs seemed very tiny and thin.
Not too difficult to install I would really like to see a stainless guide rod already installed. That would well worth the money.
I received my spring and guide lock ring with the complete kit. Watching the installation video and following along with the install got to the point of applying the guide ring. Mine slide on with finger pressure as a complete circle. When I released the pressure on the new springs they pushed up on the retaining cap and lodged canted. With the spring half in the recess and half out. Since I ruined the factory ring in preparing for the new install I had to overlap the new ring in the recess and cut the excess with a slow rpm thin Dremel cutoff wheel. It wasn’t just a little oversized, it was nearly big enough to slide completely over the rod.
Springs came quickly along with some free goodies, install video was a huge help and the the PMR now cycles flawlessly FINALLY! Thanks MCARBO! You got a new customer for life! -Todd

I'm done trying to get this f-ing retaining clip off. I have tried 3 separate times and I'm about ready to throw the whole thing out the window.
