As I was finishing with installing the MCARBO PMR30 upgrade kit. Going step by step with the insruction video(A MUST SEE), one thing on my mine was not to drop the wire. Well I did. A day later with a bright spotlight and magnet, I found it. Will report back after I shoot it. Chris, please offer this, for future customers as a complete rod and spring unit. I would've gone that way for sure.

I installed a tactical sight on my PMR-30 and I was worried about the function with the added weight. This recoil spring kit was the solution I was looking for. I had a friend who is a gunsmith install it on a second spring guide. This is a must for reliable function with the additional weight! M Carbo had what I needed at a great price!

Not sure I needed to replace the original as I have yet to suffer and feed issue or malfunctions, but hey, I did it. Easy to remove and easy to install the new one. The small spring clip on the end of the rod is easy to lose and I wish they sent an extra one, but hours of looking and a magnet helped me find my original. I even fabricated a new one from the old spring, but replaced the original once found. The video is keen on letting you know how easy it is to lose, pay attention or suffer.
Works great a improvement, take your time installing, it can be a little difficult, if you have old eyes, the ring is small.
Great addition to my pmr30. Easy install. Just be careful when removing the cheesy kel tec clip as the parts will go flying if unprepared.
The spring upgrade installed as described in the video. That little retaining wire is surely a pain to remove. It seems like a strong c-clip could be manufactured to replace it with. I rated it a 5-star because the product was as described and installed exactly as instructed, I just wish it had cured my PMR-30 jam-o-matic issues. Maybe a metal magazine redesign would help the feeding issues.
Ok so after the long wait "because it's been really hot and humid" I finally got out to plink around a little. I've had my PMR for a few years and it was a little temperamental, sometimes it would allow me to plink away in 3 to 5 rounds continuous bursts, other times it would FTF every other round. After installing the new mcarbo springs, my PMR is firing every round , one after the other. Thanks guys!!!
I had 150 rounds of ammo that wouldn't cycle the slide with the factory spring, but after I installed the mcarbo power spring I was able to shoot the rest of the ammo with zero issues. This was well worth the $14.00. I will recommend this product t ok everyone I know that has a kel tec pmr 30
Replacement strings seem to work better than the original springs. After M Carbo assembled all three parts, I tested fired at the shooting range. I shot 50-60 rounds, everything worked very smoothly. Highly recommend.
Works like a charm. Seems to cycle better now. Don't forget to oil your slide and mags after installing your MCarbo parts!
Install was just as the video said. The performance is solid I can really tell the difference, great product.
