On the workbench I was a little skeptical but when we shot it we could absolutely feel a difference. It has a bunch of consist and smooth take up, a great Wall, and a surprisingly clean brake. The upgrade value is great.
The T/C R22 trigger return plunger has a small inner spring inside an outer spring. The inner spring on this kit isn't tapered like the OEM spring. This means my trigger return plunger binds up a little as coils between the springs shift around and move past each other. The weight feels really good, but the plunger resistance changes as the trigger is pressed against it. I tried to tighten the coils a little on one end, but it's tough to get it small enough to not interfere with the outer spring. Otherwise, the springs appear to be of good quality and construction.
Makes the trigger pull smooth, I don't have a scale to measure it but it's really smooth. I did not polish anything, I just installed the springs and it performs beautifully.
with Covid the shipping took longer than expected but after receipt and a couple of days of procrastination I sat down with the trigger spring kit for my new custom shop T/CR22 and after fashioning a slave pin from a short piece of brass rod, I was able to install the kit in about 30 minutes or so. {after making the slave pin of course} the kit did everything you claimed it would. what started out as a roughly 4.75 pound trigger now breaks at exactly 2.5 lbs. I couldn't be happier. Thanks for a fine product.
The kit came quickly with great shipping and tracking. The springs were correct and fit great. I have no way to measure trigger pull but the springs in the kit were noticeably lighter feeling. I do think it would be nice if they include a sacrificial pin like what’s available in the Ruger 10/22 kit (that’s why I rated 4 stars). It came as expected.
I had a 4.5 pound trigger weight - I bought and installed the springs as was shown in the video - Checked the weight again - 4 pound pull - uninstalled and reinstalled thinking I may have done something wrong - Still 4 pound pull weight - Took it to a gunsmith and he uninstalled what I did and reinstalled the springs - Again 4 pound pull - I regret buying two of these (one for the T/CR22 I bought for my daughter) and one for my T/CR22 - She hasn't installed hers yet
This simple and easy to install trigger spring set, tremendous difference! I highly recommend it, for a few bucks it gives you a 100% improved rifle.
Big improvement from the factory springs, watching UTube 10-22 videos are helpful but the lack of detailed instructions make this a somewhat difficult task. End result is worthwhile.
Polished per video and installed sprig kit,went down to just under 3lb on wheeler spring gauge. Good reset even under rapid fire.

With the new spring coming in a packed zip lock bag, which is appreciated as I can store original springs in zip lock bag.. very well though out packaging for customer. Installation was a breeze. Fast shipping and instructions on You Tube. A little challenging on the sear spring, but not bad. Took trigger pull from 4.25 lbs to 2 lbs 4 oz. Great products, again.
Just back from the range after shooting my TCR 22 with its newly installed MCARBO spring kit. I couldn’t be happier - one ragged 5 shot hole at 50 yds with an otherwise completely stock rifle. Thanks.
Trigger pull before polishing - 4lb 11oz; after polishing - 4lb 10oz. Installation of replacement trigger and sear springs reduced pull to 2lb 5oz. Looking forward to shooting tighter groups.
Definitely a lighter pull. Too bad there is no video or product specific directions for the installation. Fortunately I previously did a trigger kit install on a Ruger 10/22 and it was similar (although not exact, had to figure it out myself). Speaking of the 10/22 trigger kit; why doesn't the T/CR 22 kit include a "sacrificial" trigger pin, like included in the 10/22 kit, to ease installation?
Very nice springs, dropped my trigger pull from 4lbs to 2.9lbs. One con is very big, there needs to be a slave pin included and a video or amend the 10-22 to show the different steps than the Ruger!
Very pleased with the results after installing these replacement springs in my TCR22.....trigger pull is now where it should be for more accurate shooting.
