A great upgrade to the trigger system on the KSG! I personally had a little difficulty during the installation process just holding things in the right places. However, that could have been me! Once completed, I didn't regret anything! Truly made the shotgun feel more crisp and clean.

Got the trigger and the spring kit upgrade. Followed the video instructions (would have been lost without them, Thanks Chris). The spring kit works as advertised and reduced the pull as advertised.

This changed everything- these reviews are not over hyped. Loved installing this - very challenging and fun. The pre travel is all but gone, you might as well get the new trigger - Legit! (Chris) your videos are a god send.

This was definetly a great addition to the trigger from Mcarbo. Feels like a better pull yet not too light. Install can be tricky

with spings, but with the right tools & youtube it can be a litter easier.

Instalation of trigger and trigger spring on my Kel-Tec KSG

I received the parts in a timely manner and set about installing them into my gun after I viewed the video twice. I was especially careful of the action lock spring and held it in place with a thin punch as instructed in the video. Probably due to the fact that my hands are nearing 80 and are not as agile as they used to be I did indeed loose the spring, which still has not been found. I ordered two new springs from Kel-Tec (they're pretty cheap and I found out later that Kel-Tec would have sent me a free one). I knew that the new spring was going to take off also the first chance it got so I put a piece of dental floss (about 14 inches) through the spring and that tamed its uncooperative behavior.

I think you could probably run some mono-filament fishing line or a needle with some thread down through the spring when you first start to separate the handle and control the spring that way easier than with a punch as you don' have to worry about it flying away.

Getting all the pins and up other parts lined up is a hassle, at least the first time you do it, but it all came together nicely after a few choice words of encouragement.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but the trigger is very smooth and has a nice light feel to it.

Good quality springs and will reduce the pull by half. This is a difficult install for me required many attempts and had to bend the trigger spring slightly to fit in the polymer receiver prior to re assembly. Lots of patience and care finally got it done. M Carbo video was helpful

Ordering was painless, shipping was prompt and packaged well, installation was a snap (utilizing the YouTube videos), and product performed as described. OK, there is the watered down review. I cannot speek well enough about the products that MCarbo produces and makes available to us. The KSG trigger spring kit (and trigger...also installed at the same time), works wonderfully. The pre-travel is gone and the trigger break is crisp and half the factory trigger pull (just by feel, no gauge). I feel the combination of the two will allow me to have a better average this fall at deer camp during the skeet competition (yes, the KSG is a wonderfull clay busting gun). The looks I get when I use it are amazing!

I installed this spring kit along with the aluminum trigger and it's night and day. With proper and simple adjustment, I now have a wonderful 3.5lb pull that has absolutely no take up. It simply breaks smooth as silk. If you're thinking about where to start with upgrades, this should be first on your list. Definitely going to refer all my fellow officers/family/friends to this store/site. Thank you for the excellent craftsmanship!

Chris, Patrick and Tom

I have a suggestion that "you-all" might want to ad to the "Trigger Job" Video, which by the way quits before you put the action bar spring is put back in and the other half of the system's frame is put together.

When taking the frame apart the and the frame halves are separated slightly, take a piece of heavy polyester thread, stiff string, or preferably fishing line; and run down along the action bar through the spring and out the bottom of the frame and wrap around behind the frame half and tie the two ends of the string together snugly. This will retain the spring and keep it from flying away.

Then when reassembling; tie the action bar spring back in the same manner and put the frame halves back together. Cut the string at the frame's lower mating edges and pull it up and out towards the top of the action bar.

This is a very simple and necessary step to insure that spring does not get wings. I know from experience, because on reassembly, before I could get the frame halves together my spring developed wings!

My wife and I spent over an hour looking for the spring and I finally put the frame back together, because I was working on our table in our motorhome (We live in a motorhome) and she wanted to make supper. After supper, I continued the search and finally found the spring on the other side of the motorhome, on the counter top, behind the kitchen sink; Praise The Lord!

It was after I lost the spring, that The Lord gave me the idea of the spring string! I tried it and it works! I guess He was giving me another lesson in patience.

I thought I would share the idea with you and maybe even suggest that you include about a foot of stiff fishing line, or real heavy polyester thread, string in the trigger/spring kit. It's up to "you-all" now.

I also drilled a small hole in the trigger guard, lining up with the sear adjustment screw, of the new M Carbo Target trigger, to do a final tweak, which I have done to many of my guns. Anyway, I got it all together and it works Great. Verrrrrryyyy Satisfied!!!!!

AND REMEMBER: "It is better to have more Guns and Ammo than you need; than not to have the guns and ammo you need!" Others can pick up the gun and continue the fight when you are gone!

Much better trigger feel

Installation was moderately difficult even with the online video to guide me. The spring return and sear didn't want to cooperate when reinstalling the trigger. Otherwise, it's a great improvement over stock.
