I had excellent results with the trigger spring in my T/C venture. While I had it apart I adjusted the creep and overtravel set screws also and it's a new gun!! Breaks crisp and clean with no creep. I can't measure the trigger but it's half or better what it was!
The installation only took about 20 minutes and was really simple. The video was excellent to show each step. Upon completion the trigger pull was crisp and light, less than 2 pounds
This is one of the best upgrades that you can do for a TC venture. The trigger pull is awesome and I'm supporting a great company too.
Installed in about 15 minutes. It’s as good as a timney I’ve used on my Rem 700. I’m getting 2lb-2oz, initially 3lb-4oz(factory).
Installed on T/C Dimension with fantastic results. Factory trigger pull measured at 4lbs 2oz (Avg over 10 readings). Installed MCarbo Spring and trigger pull is now 2 lbs 8 oz. incredible (Avg over 10 readings). Trigger is also much smoother! I was expecting the lower trigger pull weight but the change in smoothness was quite a surprise. (I get it now when the guy on the installation video starts with the “oh yeah’s”). The installation video made this mod easy. Great Job! I watched 3 times prior to installation and it only took 15 minutes or so to install. Somewhat disappointed that it didn’t lower my trigger pull to around 2 pounds. It’s a touch over three which is better that it was. Installation was simple. I will have to give it 4 stars due to not reducing pound of pull more. When new Tikka t3 shows up we shall see what that spring will do since I already purchased it
Single easiest/best thing you can do for your Venture. From the factory, it pulled 4.8lbs. Tossed in the spring and adjusted out almost all of the creep. Pulls 2.1lb now which is perfect for me. It feels phenomenal!
dropped from 3.5 to 1.6 and I absolutely love it and thanks for the video how to do it..got other guns I may do the same with thanks mcarbo
Just installed on my son's TC Dimension. A little complicated because of having to break the trigger assembly down completely but the how to video made it easy enough. Took it from 3.14 lb to 2.11 lb. Not quite the advertise 50% reduction but still makes for much better shooting. This is the 3rd rifle I have done this on now and all have been closer to 30% than 50% reduction but its worth it for sure! Thank you
With the video it is really easy to install, makes the trigger super light, just under 24oz. This is my 3rd McCarbo kit they are all amazing!
The spring came very fast and was easy to install with MCARBOs installation video. It took me about 10 min. Lowered my pull from 3.8 to 1.9 which i think is great for 13 dollars. I woud recommend to someone looking for a low budget high quality trigger upgrade!
I received your TC Trigger Spring for my .204 Ruger TC Dimension in two days and did the install that night, after watching your fine instructional video on Youtube. It was really simple and straightforward. I also adjusted the over-travel and creep while the trigger was out. Adjustments are made with the two nuts on the edge of the trigger assembly. Those have a drop of glue, but it pops right off with a sharp blade. After reassembly, it was like a brand new gun, 2 LB, 4 OZ pull with no creep or over-travel. After I work on any rifle trigger, I always hold the gun vertical and give it a couple of good raps on the bench to be sure sear engagement holds. This Dimension now has one sweet trigger!
Very happy, reduced trigger pull from 4.87 to 2.18. Fells like the 2 rifles are a different gun.
Fast shipping reasonably price pull wouldn’t go below 2-1/2 lbs. though still better than stock! 😎👍👍
Didn't like the trigger on my Venture, about the only option was to change the spring. I didn't find a after market trigger. I found the MCarbo spring and thought I would try it. The order was very fast, less than a week I had it. I watch the video on u-tube on installation which helped by putting steps in order to save me time. The new spring made my rifle a new weapon. Shot it the next day and it great. Thank you for such an easy fix.
