This helpful tool fits just right. As an extra precaution not to scratch I put a cotton rag between it and the metal. Best tool to work with.
I removed the 6point barrel spanner nut from my KSG and couldn’t have done it well without this convenient vise frame. I lined it with painters tape to prevent marring. The nut was well torqued and had thread cement. I don’t believe the job could have been completed without the vice plates secure stability.
Insanely fast shipping, quality products with great customer service. Vice block isn’t necessary but very helpful and makes install much easier. 10/10 would do business with again.

This will make getting the barrel nut off a lot easier mine had a ton of loctite had to put a lot of torque to loosen it
Holds secure when you use it correctly. Just take your time.

Purcesed this product last week, well made and served its purpose
To properly hold the barrel in a solid position without damaging other things, this is a great "sub-vise" to put in your vise! The minimum size vise needed is a 4" spread.

Having struggled to hold my KSG in a regular vice without scarring it, this tool eliminates the problem completely.
Do not attempt to remove that barrel nut without this tool! I also use it to hold KSG when I'm cleaning it or doing any adjustments or additions.
worked just as advertised and demonstrated in video. Used the 6 point socket with impact drill and zipped barrel nut right off. Remember to put tape around the block and barrel of ksg. really good invention.
