I put this on my Mossberg 930 Pro-Series Sporting which had a decent trigger right out of the box and for the first time I could not tell a difference after the MCARBO part swap. It still has a decent trigger so I can not knock it especially as I am just gauging it with my finger and not an instrument.
Installed it minutes, same procedure as the 930. Got a solid average 3.5lbs pull on my bench using a simple Wheeler Trigger Pull Scale. Took my 940 to the range, shot around 50 slugs with no issues, trigger feels amazing!!.... $13 WELL SPENT!!!!
Really nice add on to a factory shotgun, specially a semi-auto. Grease the striker like instructed and wow you've almost got a nice crisp riffle trigger. Customer care goes above and beyond with MCARBO.
Easily the best upgrade out there for my 930 auto slug gun, replacing the trigger spring. 2 pins, assembly drops out, use a snall flat blade screwdiver to compress old spring and pull off. Clean and oil assembly, replace spring and lube the sear with the grease MCarbo offers. 15 minutes tops, most time is spent cleaning and lubing. You're left with a smoother, less creepy, easier pulling trigger. I am a deer slug gun hunter, this is a no-brainer and did the same for my 870 pump back up/carry gun. I am very happy wuth this upgrade.
Great sring kit easy installation via the videos. Little issue getting trigger spring back in but not difficult. Definitely reduce trigger pull wieght. Great kit!

Worked out great, simple to install, in just minutes. It flat out works, my trigger is a pleasure to pull now. I laid a little bit of trigger lube I use on my other guns on the sear .... can't wait to shoot again. Before the spring, it seemed like it took way too much pressure and effort to squeeze the trigger. Now, I just put a little squeeze on ... and it goes bang! If you don't have trigger lube in your tool box ... don't blame MCarbo!
I have a mossberg 930 jm pro. I measured between a 5 and 5.5lb trigger pull before. And a 4lb trigger pull after. So I am very happy. Any lighter and I might be worried during competition.
This was a very quick installation/upgrade. It took all of five minutes. Now my 930 has a really slick easy trigger pull. I do not own a trigger pull gauge however I can tell the trigger pull is smoother and lighter. Way to go M-Carbo.

Note this is the only MCarbo spring replacement I have installed that did not reduce my trigger pull. It was 4 pounds before and 4 after. My conclusion is that the prior owner installed a spring kit in this shotgun already. I have installed MCarbo kits in several pistols and they are always easy to follow videos and resulted in reduced trigger pull force.

I found this upgrade to my Mossberg 930 SPX's trigger group to be excellent! Trigger pull is noticeably smoother and lighter without being too light for my purposes. The weight of this spring is well chosen and appears to be manufactured of quality materials. Yes, it's a spring and a fairly simple part not to mess up but, I have seen poor quality springs just the same and this is not one of those for 100% certain. I also bought and used the PTFE Synthetic Grease for the sear engagement contact points and that worked well in combination with spring in smoothing the trigger pull. Glad I bought and extra tube to use on my other triggers. Great products M*CARBO Team. Thank you!
