Got the steel feed ramp and this kit. Polishing was easy and it just makes sense to purchase both at the same time. The polish does tend to fling (cup hand over bit when first turning it on helps control some of the mess) and I have polish and felt bits left over for use elsewhere.
Overall this is very good product. My only concern is polishing compound included. This compound has very strong chemical smell and it tends to leak outside of working zone. As an alternative I tried Dremel polishing compound 421 and it works perfect - no leaks, no smell, good polish.

And that polishing kit!… It’s hard to believe that a non-abrasive method would have such a profound effect. It’s simply beautiful. I’m only half kidding when I say that I want to go around and polish everything! Thanks for such great products and helpful videos.

Worked just as described. Polished up the feed ramp just fine. Maybe a slight improvement in the rifle's feed. Haven't really ran enough rounds through it to have a good measure. Ammo's too hard to find these days and I end to run a lot of rounds when I take the rifle out.
I had never polished a feed ramp until I received this kit. Watched instruction video and no problems. Night and day difference, no stovepipes on sccy cpx-2 & cpx-1 (2nd gen) since using this. 1 kit has polished 3 feed ramps so far. A quick upgrade that's worth every penny and easy to do, no matter skill level. mcarbo does it again.
