Quality product, despite COVID 19 disruption shipping and delivery better than anticipated. After installation pleased with the outcome.
Installed this Mc1sc spring kit in my Mc2sc this morning. Even with sore arthritic hands, it took less than an hour. Two differences to point out. First, the roll pin for the extractor is under the optic plate, or optic if you have already installed one. Second, there is a travel limiter pin inside the extractor spring. Take care not to lose it for reassembly! Everything else follows the original Mc1sc instructions. Trigger is noticeably lighter. Need to find a trigger gauge to measure. Great product, great customer service!
I've never installed a trigger spring kit before. The video made it simple and the parts fit perfectly.
I installed this kit in my new Mossberg MC2c (using the excellent installation video from Mcarbo) and it resulted in a trigger pull weight of 4 pounds! This is a reliable product that I can recommend!
Good work guys. Works just like it was supposed too. Simple remove and install. Keep up the good work.
Great price. Ordered, arrived just a couple days later. Followed the instructional video via YouTube - took less than an hour, fully installed. Have yet to fire with live rounds, but so far a noticeable lightness in dry firing trigger weight, just as described.
I installed the spring kit in my Mossberg mc2c and was quite pleased. Trigger pull weight went down from about 5.5 lbs to about 4.5 lbs. This made an ok shooter into a good shooter. It is well worth your while to invest a few $ and make your gun better. As per the video for installation, be advised that the ejector pin is NOT an easy knock out and almost impossible to put back in after spring change. You do not need a gunsmith but an extra set of hands is advised.
The McCarbo springs reduced pull and smoothed out The Factory trigger on my MC2C. From factory the trigger was vague making it the only aspect of this gun that I did not like. No real wall before break, just a sea of mush then break. While new springs did not create create a noticable wall the mush is Much smoother and and less annoying. Easy install following pics on website. I May go back in and do some polishing for a bit more refinement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I also purchased kit for my Shield 2.0 which I have Not installed yet.
While the Mossberg spring kit doesn't result in a dramatic reduction in trigger pull it does reduce it enough to be noticeable. My groups are tighter as a result. Installation is pretty easy esp. if you're used to detail stripping Glock handguns as the design is very similar. As someone already said, trying to compress the extractor/spring assembly while driving in the firing pin safety roll pin is a bit of a pain but not impossible. Try using a "c" clamp to hold the extractor in (make sure to wrap the slide in tape first to prevent marring the finish). Mossberg pistols use a sear (trigger) spring that's essentially a Glock "New York" trigger spring. Replacing that spring with the M-CARBO sping provides the greatest reduction. If you're worried about light primer strikes (which I have not experienced in a year of using the entire kit) then I recommend installing only the sear and firing pin safety block springs...or just the sear spring if you don't feel like messing with that tiny roll pin in the slide. I definitely recommend this kit.
Great addition and a mist to your MC2C. If you’re handy with tools, especially working on Glocks, this is a ten minute job (if that). What I appreciate the most about this kit is that the trigger reset is still very pronounced and quick, which is hard to find when you start tweaking springs and such. Only thing I will say is that if you get this kit, go ahead and polish the plunger. It’ll make a difference. Great work MCARBO!
Had a gunsmith replace my springs in Mossberg MC1sc. The MCarbo kit really made a big difference in the amount of trigger pull, and it was very smooth also. Really worked great.
Install was a breeze and the end result is a much nicer trigger pull. A great inexpensive upgrade that made a positive difference. Off to the range to see if I can take advantage of this improvement with better groupings!!
I purchased two for both of my MC2c guns. They cam real fast. Great packaging and tip sheets. I also like the video on their site. Good friendly communications.. Will buy from these guys again. Happy customer.
Significant Upgrade improves accuracy transforms a mediocre trigger pull into one of the best trigger & trigger pulls on any striker fired handguns on the Market!
The kit came in a hurry. I was the one that was slow about changing the springs, but finally got to it. Changed them this morning, loaded my two mags with 124 grain ball ammo and went to my little test site. It ran just fine and I could tell a significant difference, to the better, in the trigger response. Good job guys!
My MC2c trigger was very gritty and had a heavy pull from the factory, it measured 7.5 lbs average. This Mcarbo spring kit made a noticeable difference in reducing the trigger pull to 5 lbs. I also polished the internals to remove the gritty feeling, and everything turned out well. It took about 20 minutes to install and not difficult at all, if you can tinker you can install this easily. I'm sure with more use the trigger will become smoother and lighter, and I recommend this kit to anyone looking to enhance their pistol.
