Firearm & Feed Ramp Polishing Kit

Polishing the feed ramp can significantly improve feeding operations by eliminating microscopic machining lines that slow the bullet's travel into the chamber, thereby reducing the likelihood of a Failure to Feed (FTF) Malfunction.

Flitz Gun Polish Kit:

The Flitz Gun Polish Kit is versatile, designed for a variety of firearm surfaces. It effectively removes superficial rust and discoloration without damaging the bluing. This kit is not only ideal for firearms but also perfect for polishing your knife collection. Polishing a stainless steel gun is as easy as following the outlined steps below.

Easy to Use:

  1. Apply the polishing paste.
  2. Do not let it dry.
  3. Buff the polish with a microfiber cloth or a felt polishing bit.

Flitz is suitable for both knife and gun care, offering an excellent solution for cleaning, polishing, and protecting against rust and corrosion. If you've invested in a quality knife or gun, it's wise to maintain them well. This kit is particularly effective on blued, nickel, and stainless guns, delivering a brilliant shine and maintaining the integrity of the firearm.

First of all, if you plan on buying this a Dremal works best. However, a variable speed drill will work as well.
I have a PSA Dagger 9mm that had a problem feeding rounds. After polishing the feed ramp the feed problem disappeared. So, given the improvement of that gun, why not polish the others. A Taurus TX22 Competition would not feed lead bullets after the polish job...fixed.
My personal recommendation is just buy the kit, it's much cheaper than having the shop do the polish job.
Be sure to watch the how-to video, it is very informative..
Essential if you don't already own some Flitz polish

If you already have some Flitz polish and a polishing wheel you don't need this. If you don't already have it, get it. You get a small tub of Flitz, WAY more than you'll need. You could probably polish up the engagement surfaces of an entire army rifle company worth of firearms with the amount you get. The YouTube video instructions are great and you should review them before and have them running during your polishing and trigger job. Really good resource.

Bought 3 for a few handguns and rifles. One felt pad easily did two clean micro pistol throats and entrance to chamber. Probably could have done 3 but would have been dirty. 10,000 on a dremel with a touch of this so it won’t fly off and about 90 seconds and had mirror polish.
Great

Can you purchase the Flitz Polish by itself, like some of the other components of the kit? I would like to purchase if so. I suggest that you should, thanks for your time.

Unfortunately we do not do just the polish by itself because a lot of people want the full kit with the felt tip bobs so they don't need to do multiple shops for a kit.

Question:
on paper i *should* be able to use the polishing bits with a normal electric drill right?

On paper you *should* be able to, however I would not recommend it since they were designed for hand held rotary tools, such as Dremel or hyper tough.
